While at school, the witness's sister looked out from the bathroom area and saw a large monkey-like figure emerge from under a small bridge. It stepped over, looked toward the school, and stared. The account was relayed to the guest by their mother.

A state trooper pulled over a truck for speeding and the occupants shouted about a wolf, grabbed back identification and fled. As the trooper returned to his car, a huge wolf stepped out of the woods standing on two legs and snarling. He fired three pistol shots with no effect, fled, later refused to leave his car on that road, believed it followed him, began drinking heavily and died of alcohol poisoning.
