A man was reportedly held captive for six days in the early twentieth century in coastal Canada. During captivity he reported hearing the captors chattering amongst themselves back and forth. The account was later documented in a book by a well-known researcher.
Sasquatch sighting
A young child reported a furry smelly cowman at the field edge, followed by an older sibling being followed by heavy footsteps and a father finding long coarse hair on a loosened fence wire. That evening the father and son were chased from the woods, night howls with whoops continued, and a large shape spoke and made faces at the bedroom window. The mother shot at an arm reaching for the child, the family fled, and returning days later found the house interior violently torn apart.
Sasquatch sighting
The historical [name withheld] Ostman account is retold as a man sleeping in a bag being picked up and carried to where other creatures were. They chattered quickly back and forth and showed interest in his coffee and fire.

Other homeowners in the area reportedly heard screams, howls and chatter-like sounds.
