Later the same night a supervisor watching through a thermal tank scope saw a very large bipedal heat signature approach two other agents on foot. The figure was described as towering over the agents, walking like a person rather than a bear, and stalking them. The supervisor ordered the agents back to their vehicles.

During one late-night episode, one person looking out from a shelter saw a large shape briefly enter moonlight and then leave. A very large size and long stride were reported for the shape and tracks.

An agent hiking detained individuals up a ridge at dusk heard brush breaking below and saw a large bipedal beast pushing through tall brush with its arms. The creature's head and shoulders were above six to eight foot brush. The agent and the group fled uphill until the creature was no longer visible.
