A dressed deer was lifted off a hook and carried away, dog food disappeared, juvenile-like tracks were found by a pond, a small cedar was twisted between two yard trees, dogs barked at the woods at night, and the nephew's girlfriend felt watched.

The witness's mother got up at night and saw a large dark figure at her back patio door putting its hands over the glass as if trying to enter. After the witness drove up with headlights, the figure left over a steep ravine in one leap. The mother remained fearful and kept doors locked.

A reddish-brown muscular creature darted from a cove, leapt about 12 to 15 feet, looked back with a surprised expression, then ran down the shallow creek without touching stones. The son was shaken and the family later measured about eight feet tall at the site.
