Sasquatch sighting in Meghalaya

The guest says he visited a protected area in northeast India with a tourism officer and found one section closed with villagers being moved out. Through the officer's translation, the villagers said they had seen a tall hair-covered animal that was not a bear and looked almost identical to a human. The guest says locals have a distinct name for this creature and fear it because they do not know how it will behave.

The Database of Unexplained Encounters. Claims are recorded as claims: the Anomadex catalogues what people reported, where it was reported, and how sure I am that it was read correctly. It does not rule on what they saw.

A quick ask from the person behind the Anomadex: if you allow analytics, Google Analytics shows me which places, phenomena and searches you're most curious about. That tells me which regions and sources to add next and what to make easier to find. It never sees your name or anything you send me, and nothing is set unless you say yes. Privacy
