Sasquatch sighting in Massachusetts (2009)
A couple driving home at night came upon a semi-truck that had struck a large animal. The driver said he hit a Bigfoot that ran in front of his truck while chasing a deer. The witness walked with a trooper to the animal on the roadside and saw a gorilla-like face with blood, an eye blink and slight hand movement. The trooper shot the creature, and the couple later heard nothing about the incident in news reports despite asking.

Two coworkers claimed to see a tall, dark, hair-covered biped accompanied by a black dog at a garden center entrance in Mashpee in the fall of 1980 or 1981 between 2 and 3 a.m. They reported extreme shock and drove away at high speed.
