Daylight sighting by duck hunter near Pella.
A man was duck hunting with his young son in a public hunting area near Pella when they paused to watch a crane. He then saw a tall, solid-white figure on two legs run across the trail about 40 yards away, moving very fast and quietly. He searched for tracks but found none because of leaf cover, then left feeling unnerved.

The witness's brother was driving a tractor home late at night when he noticed two large hair-covered figures walking parallel to the road along a fence line. He described the taller one as about seven to eight feet tall, bulky with long swinging arms, and watched them continue along the timber. He reported seeing a very big hairy coyote man, ran inside crying and remained frightened for a long time. The guest did not witness it himself and did not know where the child would have learned that description.
