Three people in two pickups crested a hill at dawn and noticed a fresh set of large tracks looping across an open hillside in new snow. A relative glassed the area with binoculars, became visibly upset, and said he thought he had seen bigfoot. The group did not approach the tracks or the area and avoided it altogether. A young boy resting in the upper bunk of a small cabin heard a strange animal-like call followed by footsteps and rustling outside. When he looked through the open shutter window he saw a dark, very hairy face with glowing eyes staring in, which fled when he screamed. The family later estimated anything peering into that high window from the sloped ground would have to be about seven to eight feet tall, but they found no trace the next day.

A hunting guide and a young client spotted a Sasquatch below some mule deer. The client fired despite being told not to, wounding the smaller one. A larger one charged, jammed rifle failed, and the guide fled after seeing it tear the client apart. Authorities were said to have recovered body parts and recorded it as a [name withheld] attack.
