Family spot large, manlike "thing" across lake, later find huge footprints near a trash pit
Four relatives fishing at one end of a lake in the Haig Lake area saw a large, hairy biped on the far shore about 500m to 1km away. The creature, described as over six feet tall, grey and black, and moving quickly on two legs without dropping to all fours, appeared to be coming around toward them. Alarmed by its speed, the group left the shoreline and returned to camp.

Wagon occupants traveling on a dirt road near a lake stopped when a large hair-covered human-like figure was seen standing in the road ahead. One occupant covered the others in the wagon and the group turned the vehicle around to leave the area.
