Strange "yowling" sounds heard behind home in Constance
Friends living by the Ohio River reported hearing loud yowling from the woods behind their house that they could not identify as a known animal. They also reported hearing something crashing through underbrush on a steep hillside. No visual sighting or footprints were reported, and the reporter relaying the account noted it could be a known animal such as a coyote, bobcat, or bear.

The group saw strange moving lights, felt a sudden whirlwind, then heard growling and tree-breaking and footsteps in the creek as they fled. For six to eight months an elderly farmer and his wife reported nightly tapping that followed them room to room, shadows outside windows, a barn door torn open, missing dog food and missing outdoor dogs, and a low voice whispering the indoor dog's name. The responding deputy initially suspected neighbors, moonshiners or a grow operation, but later found a large hand-like dent in the house and an 18-inch footprint in the creek that he cast. The cast was later reported to show dermal ridges and to be considered authentic east of the Mississippi.

From there he saw three large hair-covered bipeds in the second quarry area, about 100 meters west of where the guest later saw them. He watched them walk out of the quarry into the tree line with a smooth gliding motion, and could contrast their size with uniformed soldiers working below.

Four relatives fishing at one end of a lake in the Haig Lake area saw a large, hairy biped on the far shore about 500m to 1km away. The creature, described as over six feet tall, grey and black, and moving quickly on two legs without dropping to all fours, appeared to be coming around toward them. Alarmed by its speed, the group left the shoreline and returned to camp.

Three people in two pickups crested a hill at dawn and noticed a fresh set of large tracks looping across an open hillside in new snow. A relative glassed the area with binoculars, became visibly upset, and said he thought he had seen bigfoot. The group did not approach the tracks or the area and avoided it altogether. The account was relayed secondhand by a close friend of one of the men.

Two coworkers driving to work encountered an upright wolf-like creature standing beside the road. It watched them as they nearly stopped beside it, then crossed behind them and ran up a steep bank. The witness later visited the site and found tracks showing it scaled a high dirt bank in two leaps.

Two women driving to work rounded a curve and saw a tall werewolf-like figure standing by a road sign staring at them. The car slid near it and it looked in at the passenger, who felt it was intensely evil. The driver then sped away. The investigator later found smashed grass and clawed toe-ball prints high on the opposite bank and estimated nine feet.

The main witness was hunting near a remote lake when a creature crossed the path a short distance ahead without noticing the witness. The witness returned home agitated and reluctant to discuss what was seen. A companion who was present reportedly saw the same thing.
