Two companions watching lightning during a storm reportedly heard loud pig-like grunts and screams and noisy movement in dense brush. They also reported seeing red reflected eyes spaced a few inches apart. The animal was described as large, but its size could not be judged because of a steep slope, and no tracks or hair were found afterward.

The reporter relayed relatives' account of hearing a howl in early afternoon during a heavy rainstorm. The sound was described as similar to a howl heard in the same location in May but about half as long. Neighborhood dogs howled and barked in response to the sound.

On a snowy night a friend took a wrong trail, stalled a four-wheeler, and started walking out. Something large moving in the brush without vocalizing blocked going down and flanked the friend, pushing up and to the right. The friend reached a cabin with people and a telephone at the top and called for pickup.

The witness was walking around a cabin toward an outhouse just before dawn. About 6-7 feet beyond a makeshift counter she saw peripherally a pewter or dark gray figure moving very rapidly on two feet. She said it made a noise but had no smell. Her companion was awakened afterward and searched but found nothing.

A pot-farming acquaintance told the witness that in the late 90s a 7-8 foot figure fixated on his cabin with banging and grapefruit-sized rocks thrown past his head. The harassment occurred late afternoon, all night and morning and made him paranoid and drinking.

They saw a tall figure standing by a barbed-wire fence, watched it with a spotlight as it walked downhill, stopping to turn its whole body to look back. The location was described as within a few miles of the witness's own encounter site.

Early one Saturday morning in mid-June 1997, the witness was driving to work when she noticed a reddish-brown figure stooped in the road near an overpass. As she approached, the figure stood upright on two feet, looked at her for a few seconds, then stepped over a guardrail into a wooded area and disappeared.

While hunting bears in timber country, the witness and a relative entered a clear-cut and noticed a large footprint in mud on a slope above a logging road. The impression was described as human-like with three toes and measuring about 14 by 7 inches. The witness later returned to create a plaster cast that was videotaped and photographed.

The witness's older relatives were sitting at a field wood line when a large upright creature approached them quickly, sounding like it was tearing down trees. One shone a light and threw the flashlight toward it, and both were left badly shaken in their truck. One has since refused to return to that area.

The guest's brother and a friend were elk hunting at Mount Rainier. They returned to find their camp destroyed, then slept in the pickup with a camper shell. Around 3:30 a.m. a human-like face appeared at the window, bared long canines, and violently rocked and collapsed the shell until the men fled at sunrise.

The witness's cousin was inside a bedroom at the aunt's property when something caught her attention outside. The cousin then reported something screaming loudly at her and called for the grandmother to come. The family later had the mother move into the property.

A delivery driver walked into the back workshop of a taxidermy shop while the owner was in the bathroom. He saw a blood-soaked Sasquatch head on a work table with tissue hanging from the neck. He left the back room and pretended to have just arrived. The owner claimed he was gutting a boar, which the witness did not believe.

Two identical-twin brothers hiking through ankle-deep water reached a clearing and found a creature lying on its back that flipped to all fours and sniffed them, appearing confused. It then stood on two legs and shook a tree to intimidate them as they backed out. That night at camp their stacked firewood was moved, and a neighboring camper said he saw two silhouettes moving it.

A man hauling firewood was driving down a dirt road in a canyon when he spotted what he first thought was a bear near a cattle salt box. When he was about 400 yards away, the dark figure stood up on two legs and quickly walked 40 to 50 yards down into a steep creek bottom. He did not stop to look for tracks and kept driving past the spot.
