Sasquatch sighting near Fort Jones, California
The guest's father was walking slowly alone on a winding logging road on his forested property looking down for rocks and crystals. Around a bend about 50 to 70 feet ahead he saw a tall hair-covered man-like figure picking and eating blackberries. The two stared at each other for about a minute before the figure leapt over the bushes in a few strides and disappeared without aggression.
Unidentified sound near Little Rock, Arkansas
The witness's grandmother twice heard an extremely loud freight-train-like sound rushing down the steep gravel road in front of her wooded property at impossible speed. She said she had no explanation for what could move that fast there.

The friend was typing on a laptop when he looked up and saw an ugly man-like face staring through the window, then fled the room. The next morning in snow he and his father found large footprints circling the cabin and porch, knee-like marks by the bedroom window, and a large handprint on a snowy wall. A neighboring cabin owner said such activity was common and described watching animals from cabins at night as Bigfoot TV.

The witness's father and a companion were frogging at night from a small boat in marsh ponds. A huge ball of light appeared low over the water and followed the boat, stopping when they stopped and moving when they moved for quite a while. It then shot off into the sky and disappeared.

A companion hunting from the middle stand about 200 yards away shot a small buck and had to retrieve it after dark during the rut. While recovering the animal he heard loud repeated grunting nearby that he did not believe was deer and could not see the source. He became frightened, dragged the deer about a hundred yards to the gate, and waited urgently for pickup.

The witness reports his partner said she also saw red eyes outside when arriving home in darkness. He initially suggested a cougar, raccoon or coyote but she doubted that. He later says he should have believed her.

While the witness was at work, his partner called frightened by prolonged yipping and howling she described as coyotes killing something. The sound lasted well over ten minutes, longer than expected for a kill, and struck her as highly unusual.

Years later the witness told a friend about his sighting and then told the friend's father. The father said he had seen the same thing on all fours by the woods while looking for a car part. The father thought it was the devil and fled.

A man interviewed about five years earlier described encountering three figures in black cloaks at Devil's Marble Yard across the James River just after sundown. He could see no faces or hands, only blackness, and all three were the same size and build. He thought they floated rather than walked and assumed they were Satan worshipers, and he never returned.

The guest's two brothers heard about a wild-man creature that could step across a nearby creek. They rode their motorcycles to the creek to look for it. After hearing movement in the woods and catching an indistinct glimpse, they panicked and rode home.
Scream in Washington
During deer season, a group of friends were hanging a shot buck on a meat pole in the dark when an extremely loud scream that started low and ended high terrified them. The friend looked up as if it came from above. The armed men abandoned the deer and returned straight to the shack.
