An acquaintance who drove a bus said that years earlier while trucking across Alligator Alley at night he stopped at a lone stop sign where a damaged car sat empty with doors open and lights on. As he prepared to leave to find a phone, a massive wide-bodied hairy thing rushed from the woods to his cab, stared him in the eyes, yelled and dented his hood. At the next phone he met the car's occupants, who said they had hit one creature and then been attacked by another before fleeing with passing motorists.

A mutual friend was at a boat ramp around one in the morning when he saw a bipedal creature walking toward him through a wood line and shallow overflow creek. The creature walked out of waist-deep water, up through a tree line, crossed the road and continued on.

A friend camped alone without a tent at an empty high-elevation campground and woke around 3 a.m. to very large bipedal-sounding steps moving through brush toward him. He turned on a headlamp and the movement stopped behind a tree about 30 feet away, then silence followed while he lay paralyzed with fear before eventually falling back asleep. He reported the incident to the witness the next afternoon.

The guest's son and other children were jumping on a trampoline at night when they saw the gray-white figure standing at the woods edge about 60 or 70 feet away watching. The children got scared and went inside.

The guest's son and daughter were dropped off at a house down a former logging road driveway. While trying to get the door open, something screamed and came closer down the driveway. They got inside and the encounter ended.

He lit up the cruiser and watched a seven-foot stooped figure walk behind the vehicle and out of the lights, then drove away in fear and later found nothing on return.

An officer on patrol saw a ball of light on the ground that revealed a tall skeletal-thin being lying with its head toward the road. Its glowing head lit its upper body, then it turned and ran off at incredible speed swinging long arms, with grayish-blue skin and an egg-shaped lower section.
