Shortly after 2001, a visiting hunter placed in a stand at the group's camp shot one of the creatures, possibly in the shoulder. The animal was not recovered but was reportedly seen later holding its arm. Blood collected at the scene was said to test as an unknown primate with group type A.

During deer season, a group of friends were hanging a shot buck on a meat pole in the dark when an extremely loud scream that started low and ended high terrified them. The friend looked up as if it came from above. The armed men abandoned the deer and returned straight to the shack.

The witness's wife found very large human-like footprints in dirt at a different location, which officials attributed to a logger.

A cousin reportedly snuck onto the property with a companion and parked overlooking the pond. While inside the car, something slammed into the rear and pushed the car so the front wheels entered the water. The driver had to get help pulling it out with a tractor. Family assumed drunk driving, but the cousin insisted something pushed them.

A relative asked permission to fish in the farm pond built for the grandchildren. While fishing from the bank she saw fog rise from the middle of the lake and drift toward her. Frightened, she left, and the fog followed her down the road to the tree line where it stopped, and she said she would never return.

After the witness's family left, friends with a small child moved into the house. The child would not use the stairs alone and was seen walking with one hand raised as if helped. She spoke of an imaginary friend and once handed a powered-off phoneless handset to her father saying the friend wanted to talk. Family history later linked the name to a relative found hanging on the property.

Seven years later the next-door neighbor told the guest that around Christmas in the year both families moved in, her bedroom door was forcefully kicked open at night. The next night it happened to her son. Later they heard a tremendous crash like a car hitting the living room, but found three glass-framed photos of her sons face-down on the floor undamaged.
Vocalization
A few weeks before the show the guest's partner was home alone working on video calls. She heard a man's voice right behind her saying hello, felt a touch on her shoulder, and smoke alarms went off repeatedly. On a work video call a colleague saw a shadow move behind her and both heard the voice, frightening her enough to leave to work in a coffee shop.
Property disturbance
While the guest and his partner were at the supermarket, the son and his friend were in the son's bedroom. The door handle shook up and down, then the door opened all by itself. Both boys were so frightened they ran out of the house and the son phoned his father saying he would not come home because the house was haunted.
Paranormal encounter
The day after the guest's doorway sighting, his teenage son was doing his hair in the living room mirror. He saw the same shadow-like person behind him which then glided out the back door. He ran upstairs shouting for his father, who had not told him about his own sighting.
UFO sighting
The guest's teenage daughter and the next-door neighbor's daughter watched silent balls of light of different colors at low height from the front of the house. The lights made formations and patterns and then shot off very fast. The daughter told the guest the next day.
