In the middle of the day the wife saw what looked like a black German shepherd head with Doberman-like ears peer over the tall vinyl fence. When she turned to look directly it was gone.

While biking with her father, the daughter rode ahead, fell off her bike and fled screaming that a black furry thing with upright ears and a massive neck looked at her and came toward her before retreating into bushes when it saw the father. The father saw only black fur and rustling and later called fish and game.
