After turning out the lights and waiting, the witness saw a tall figure approach the trailer window breathing heavily and froze until it walked away. In 1980 two men claiming to be Smithsonian field agents visited the grandmother's farm for two days after magazine coverage. They toured the garden and orchard, noted twisted limbs, cast footprints and a supposed sitting impression, collected hair and produce, and recorded audio. At night the family showed them figures with a spotlight, with up to three seen, and the visitors played a scream recording that was followed by distant chatter.

In the early 80s the father camped alone at a secluded bow camp and heard something large walk in talking gibberish like a drunk man and root through camp. It circled the tent and pressed a finger down on the canvas, leaving a half-moon cut, then left toward a second babbling voice on the hill. The grandfather drove in at dusk to find pigs raising a disturbance and something large scattering through the woods. He asked the witness's father for a gun and they found leaves torn up and limbs broken where it had plowed through. The grandfather was badly rattled and thereafter always carried a rifle there.

The guest's mother arrived at his grandmother's farm at night and was hurried inside after being told a tall hairy creature was nearby. Family members then used a spotlight to show her a figure stepping out of the light along the tree line. Over the following years the family reported repeated nighttime visits marked by forest silence, strong odor, screams and chatter, plus damage to orchard trees and garden crops.

When the guest grew up in rural northeast Louisiana, his uncle and cousins on an Arkansas cabin camping trip saw what looked like a person peeking in a window. Something across the river crashed through brush like a heavy animal, then yelled, screamed, broke branches and pushed things over. The group fled in a vehicle, realized they left the youngest sister, drove back and found her running up the road screaming.

Two lifelong friends were target shooting with small-caliber rifles along a river while a nearby reservoir was filling and flooding caves. After one rifle jammed, they returned to their car when they heard limbs snapping and saw small trees swaying and breaking. They circled back to the riverbank clearing and came face to face with a hair-covered creature standing on a deadfall, which one of them shot multiple times in the chest. The creature fell silent, then revived and ran one way while the two men fled the other, later tracking it and sparking local monster lore.

The guest's hunter uncle joined family members to look for the creature near the pond after dark. A figure stood up very close with its arms raised and the uncle fired a carbine, believing he hit it under the arms. The creature made a loud noise and fled, leaving fatty bloody material but no blood trail, only footprints and broken vegetation.

In a played video the watchman relays a couple kayakers report of pebbles and rocks being thrown from trees into water while they watched stars. He says he later found a fresh snapped and twisted small spruce behind the campsite. He interprets both as primate traits.

The guest's brother with his sister and her boyfriend shot an elk and were gutting it by a road. Elk scattered oddly, tree breaking was heard, and a large rock landed on the road without rolling. The pregnant sister vomited and returned to the truck, thinking she knew what it was.

While pushing into the bush, a teammate halted the witness and stared at the canopy. The teammate reported a branch pulled over with eyes and a face looking down that released when seen. Moments later a large birch toppled over in calm conditions, and both retreated.

On a later visit to the same area to collect rocks, the friend and his partner were overcome with fear when something pulled a tree from the ground. They saw nothing, fled on a four-wheeler, and the friend vowed never to make calls again.

The witness's father and two companions were cooking steaks at a deer camp after dark when something approached loudly, yelled and screamed aggressively, ripped branches and felled a pine tree near them. They abandoned gear except guns and drove away, returning days later with more people to find the camp destroyed, tent shredded, fire grate bent, rocks scattered, and large tracks throughout.

The guest's grandfather was sitting on his vehicle eating sardines when a grayish hairy figure appeared and stared for several minutes with only slight swaying. He set the food down, left, and found it gone the next day, then left food there about every two weeks and saw the figure a few times. On the last visit he saw a large black one with a younger one, the large one shaking trees and throwing things while the young one left, after which he stopped going there.

The neighbor, initially a non-believer, reports ongoing hollering, screaming, grunting, monkey sounds and whistles from multiple directions. Sticks and limbs were thrown at them on a tractor, and whistles answered post-driving. The property shows stripped bark, snapped and twisted trees, a trail-camera image and a footprint at a low-water crossing.

A field researcher and a companion found a camp that appeared violently destroyed, with a damaged tent, blood, large tracks and snapped trees. They called emergency services, received no immediate response, and documented the scene on video. The account was later subject to alleged pressure and editing requirements.

Two colleagues in Area X heard loud wood cracking behind a cabin and watched a leaning healthy tree bounce and snap. The teller says something large dropped from the upper branches to the ground and ran off, and a later measurement showed the trunk was about eighteen inches thick.
