Fisherman witnesses bigfoot cross the road in front of his car
Shortly before dawn on a foggy morning, the witness was driving toward a fishing area when headlights illuminated a large fur-covered creature in the road. The creature moved across the highway and leapt up a steep roadside embankment estimated at 14 feet high. The witness was badly shaken, stopped at a cafe, and later reported the incident to county authorities.

The year before the main sighting, the witness's brother-in-law almost hit a creature with his pickup near Eatonville and arrived badly shaken. Next day he and his mother found about 20 other people searching the same field for tracks.
