The witness's two friends had stayed behind with the Jeep and gotten briefly stuck in mud. While working it free in the dark, they felt something slap the side and rock the vehicle side to side without seeing what it was. They freed the Jeep, drove fast to meet the witness, and ran to his truck keeping hands on the hood.

On one morning the household found five deer carcasses missing from a backyard shed where meat was hung to cure. On another morning thirty chickens were missing from the coop. A trail of cracked eggs with contents sucked out led back toward the forest.
Sasquatch sighting in Washington (1997)
The guest's brother and a friend were elk hunting at Mount Rainier. They returned to find their camp destroyed, then slept in the pickup with a camper shell. Around 3:30 a.m. a human-like face appeared at the window, bared long canines, and violently rocked and collapsed the shell until the men fled at sunrise.
Sasquatch sighting in Florida (1996)
Two identical-twin brothers hiking through ankle-deep water reached a clearing and found a creature lying on its back that flipped to all fours and sniffed them, appearing confused. It then stood on two legs and shook a tree to intimidate them as they backed out. That night at camp their stacked firewood was moved, and a neighboring camper said he saw two silhouettes moving it.
Odor near Pike County (1994)
For six to eight months an elderly farmer and his wife reported nightly tapping that followed them room to room, shadows outside windows, a barn door torn open, missing dog food and missing outdoor dogs, and a low voice whispering the indoor dog's name. The responding deputy initially suspected neighbors, moonshiners or a grow operation, but later found a large hand-like dent in the house and an 18-inch footprint in the creek that he cast. The cast was later reported to show dermal ridges and to be considered authentic east of the Mississippi.

A friend had been feeding wild creatures until sent overseas, after which his grandfather continued feeding. When the grandfather was hospitalized, no one fed them for about a week. People who went to feed the livestock found dozens of goats and the dogs dead and torn apart, which the teller attributes to the deprived creatures.

A man went to a remote target-shooting pit after his friend did not return from sighting in a rifle. He found blood, a hat, a bent rifle and huge barefoot footprints on a hilltop and around the truck. The friend's body was folded under the dashboard inside the truck. Police were called and the death was reported as a bear attack.
Vocalization in Colorado (1980)
In the early 80s the father camped alone at a secluded bow camp and heard something large walk in talking gibberish like a drunk man and root through camp. It circled the tent and pressed a finger down on the canvas, leaving a half-moon cut, then left toward a second babbling voice on the hill. On a later return visit a green aspen blocked the road with no wind and structures were noted.
Odor in Michigan (1977)
The guest relayed his father's account of a night when the family was home while the grandfather was away hauling freight. After a foul odor and prolonged barking by the guard dog, a long loud vocalization was heard, the dog was apparently dragged from under the chicken-coop camper, and three household members separately reported red eyes staring through windows. By morning the dog was dead and mutilated, all chickens were gone with feathers and footprints scattered, and the coop hatch had been opened from underneath.

Sasquatch sighting in Kentucky (1975)
The guest's mother arrived at his grandmother's farm at night and was hurried inside after being told a tall hairy creature was nearby. Family members then used a spotlight to show her a figure stepping out of the light along the tree line. Over the following years the family reported repeated nighttime visits marked by forest silence, strong odor, screams and chatter, plus damage to orchard trees and garden crops.

The guest's grandparents noticed meat and vegetables disappearing from an outdoor wash house over several days. One night the family smelled a strong musky odor in the living room, and the grandmother saw a large hairy figure squatted outside a picture window. The guest's father chased it as it hopped yard fences, snapped a railroad-tie post, and disappeared over a hill. For about a week afterward the grandmother heard something tampering with the wash-house door at night.

About a week after the first sighting, gunshots were heard from the nearby horse stable. The witness rode over and learned a large creature had grabbed a wild horse from behind. The horse kicked free, jumped the corral, and fled while the rancher shot at the creature. Next day the horse showed hand-like pressure marks, not claw scratches, on its hindquarters.
Cryptid sighting near West Echo, New Jersey (1973)
Two youths walking home at night saw what looked like a horse under a streetlight. When one joked about riding it, the animal reared, showed wings, and chased them. They heard hooves behind them as they fled home, and fresh scratches were found on a newly painted door the next morning.
Property disturbance in Montana (1970)
Over several years in the 1970s a large smelly intruder rummaged garbage, trashed yards and broke into houses taking food. One family was visited almost nightly and treated it as routine. Residents locked doors, dogs acted cowardly, and meetings were held.
Movement only in Washington (1968)
While serving on active duty and assigned to guard duty at a military base, the witness's father and others in his unit responded to a report of noises at a newly installed perimeter fence. They found several fence posts pulled from the ground and saw movement. They ordered whoever was there to show themselves and then fired, finding no blood or other result, and the unit was shipped out much earlier than originally scheduled.
Rock throwing in Wisconsin (1968)
The guest's three uncles were camped for an extended summer stay in the pine area. Over three nights they heard dropping sounds and suspected rocks being thrown. One night something ran through camp kicking over the fire, after which they saw moving eyeshine in flashlight beams, rebuilt the fire, stayed up, and left the next day.
Cryptid sighting (1960)
A family bought an old homestead where the son repeatedly said little people bothered him in the forest, horses refused the barn, and the barn smelled foul. One evening during dinner the son pointed to a bay window and the father saw a three-foot-tall hairy human-like being by an outdoor spigot apparently chattering to others below. It made eye contact, widened its eyes, leaned back, and dropped from view. The father later found a rock-covered hole in the barn opening to caverns with strong odor, and a neighbor warned that dwarves lived under the old ruined house.
Tracks (1950)
A logger returned in the morning to find a bulldozer badly damaged with smashed windows, torn engine compartment and dents all around. Large boot-like prints were noted in the solid ground. He attributed the damage to what he called the big man.
