Two fisherman run from a large screaming creature in the woods near Highway 7
Two men walking through very dense brush heard a loud roar-like sound ending in a high-pitched shriek. They then smelled a very strong foul odor and heard unseen brush movement, followed by a second, closer howl. Both men fled through the brush and exited about half a mile from where they entered. The account was relayed to the reporter by a relative of one participant, who said the participant remained frightened of that woods afterward.

A fellow researcher was hiking on the Missouri property before the group camp and noticed something pacing him. The figure stayed low and repeatedly popped its head up over the crest of a hill. He filmed the behavior with a GoPro camera, and the area became known as Crawler Hill.

The guest relayed his mother's account from when his sibling was a small child and ran to the parents' bedroom at night frightened. A glowing orb about head height then floated into the bedroom, bobbed past the bed like someone walking, and went into the closet where it disappeared. Checking the closet revealed nothing there.

The guest relayed his father's stories of unexplained lights on a long-held rural property in southern Missouri. Groups of lights would come down the fence line or circle in a hayfield while family members watched from the porch. The family treated them as a normal part of the woods, calling them spook lights.
