After hearing a raccoon screaming, a neighboring daughter fetched her parents and they went to the forest entrance. Something came down a tree at them and two beings hit the ground and ran in different directions, leaving the witnesses shocked. A foul stench and later a rock throw were reported the same night.

While biking with her father, the daughter rode ahead, fell off her bike and fled screaming that a black furry thing with upright ears and a massive neck looked at her and came toward her before retreating into bushes when it saw the father. A fellow researcher was hiking on the Missouri property before the group camp and noticed something pacing him. The figure stayed low and repeatedly popped its head up over the crest of a hill. He filmed the behavior with a GoPro camera, and the area became known as Crawler Hill.

The guest relayed a brother's report of seeing a tall man-like outline at night walking up the road carrying something. The figure stepped over a four-foot gate without breaking stride and continued down a tractor road into the woods. At the time it was thought to be a man.

While walking back on a trail, the guest's partner felt followed, stopped, pretended to tie a shoe, then glimpsed a fast-moving brownish-black humped figure about four to five feet off the ground. It ran behind a tree and down a small valley in one to two seconds. The guest was wearing a headset looking ahead and saw nothing.

Two visiting campers slept in the backyard after leaving gifts including plums. Around two in the morning one unzipping the tent heard something massive right outside that ran past with enough force to shake the tent and fled into the forest, waking the other. Morning showed most gifts gone except one plum and impressions around the tent.

The witness's older brother, solo hammock camping on a nearby trail, was awoken by feeling a hand push his shoulder and swing the hammock. He sat up, turned on his light, and saw nothing around.

Before the couple hiked together, the wife hiked alone in the same park and felt something parallel her. She heard steps matching her own even over earbuds, pretended not to notice, and calmly left for her car. She did not see anything and has not hiked alone since.

Around 3:10 am the camper was shaken back and forth three times while one occupant stayed awake and then heard something retreat into the woods, while tent occupants heard nothing.

While waiting on a porch after getting stuck hunting, the guest and cousin spoke with an older resident. She said that on the prior morning she had watched what looked like a stump in a clear-cut across from her house stand up and walk into the woods. She had thought it might have been a bear.

The witness's father was driving home from a trade show in Las Vegas toward the desert town where he lives. A light followed the car, visible in the rearview mirror, keeping pace and stopping when the car stopped. He photographed and filmed it before it disappeared suddenly.
