A lineman elevated in a bucket truck at night was surrounded by five creatures that threw gravel and rocks at the bucket for over an hour. He fired a flare, saw four run toward it, and watched one large dog-like biped remain and react. He drove away with the bucket still raised.

The guest's friend was hunting hogs from a blind with a thermal scope when something came out of the woods walking on all fours. It looked canine-like with disproportionately long arms, about bear-sized, with no tail. He fired a .308 at about 80 yards and it ran off loudly through the woods for several hundred yards.
