[name withheld] and a friend, ages about 10-11, were hiking unsupervised from an expedition base camp in the Cascades when they found drag marks and a crude log teepee structure. His friend climbed to peer inside and came face-to-face with a hair-covered, bear-like but man-like creature using a stick, then fled in terror to camp. The group stayed the night under guard and were told something large circled camp all night before they evacuated at dawn.
Eyeshine in Florida
On night two a separate team driving a roadway saw red eyeshine about ten feet up that turned and crossed the road. They pursued on foot hearing twig snaps and rustling of something large and seeing shifting eyeshine eight to ten feet up. Members then reported feeling ill, disoriented, and trance-like, with the last person feeling lured away from the group.

The guest relayed a story his boss told about breaking into an empty farmhouse as a teenager with three friends. Upstairs bedroom doors were found closed, then all slammed shut one at a time after a comment that the place was not haunted. The group heard something come down the stairs, felt the air turn cold enough to see their breath, and then fled.

On the same property as the bedside encounters, the household heard upstairs footsteps and saw chairs roll. The youngest cousin reportedly saw an apparition of a blood-covered man in the kitchen.

The witness's male coworker said he was doing water testing and sleeping in a van with a trailer at a remote reservoir with a work partner. He awoke to fast approaching footsteps, then felt the van jerk up as something jumped on the trailer tongue and saw a shadowy face with dread-like hair look into the window. The female resident reported dark hairy figures throwing twigs, candy bait disappearing from rat traps, and large grass impressions. The guest saw the trackway and droppings and set a camcorder that allegedly captured the theft before his notes and tapes were stolen in a break-in.

A fisherman listening to elk cross Redwood Creek heard a much larger bipedal splashing that never lost footing in deep water. A huge muscular sasquatch emerged from fog about thirty feet away, gave him a contemptuous look, then walked to where the elk exited and followed them back into fog. He fled back to report it.

The guest's teenage son took the dog for a walk to a waterfall on the property and heard heavy breathing. A reddish-brown muscular creature darted from a cove, leapt about 12 to 15 feet, looked back with a surprised expression, then ran down the shallow creek without touching stones. The son was shaken and the family later measured about eight feet tall at the site.

He heard something walk across the porches, went outside with a gun and spotlight, saw nothing but smelled strong fresh fish.
