Two teen relatives were in a back bedroom when dogs began making noise. They watched something come up the driveway from the cornfield, enter an open tractor shed, and toss the dogs aside. It then passed the bedroom window with its head above the window top, walking upright with a sway, before crossing a fence back to the field.

After the witness's family left, friends with a small child moved into the house. The child would not use the stairs alone and was seen walking with one hand raised as if helped. She spoke of an imaginary friend and once handed a powered-off phoneless handset to her father saying the friend wanted to talk. Family history later linked the name to a relative found hanging on the property.
