Two teenage boys were playing on the far bank of a lake inlet in the evening when one noticed a large hairy figure watching from the wooded slope about 30 feet away. Both observed its body and face, then fled back to family camp terrified and asked to leave. The father later checked the site but saw nothing, returning next morning to confirm the close distance.
Loud vocalizations sounds heard
Two companions watching lightning during a storm reportedly heard loud pig-like grunts and screams and noisy movement in dense brush. They also reported seeing red reflected eyes spaced a few inches apart. The animal was described as large, but its size could not be judged because of a steep slope, and no tracks or hair were found afterward.

The guest's brother and a friend were elk hunting at Mount Rainier. They returned to find their camp destroyed, then slept in the pickup with a camper shell. Around 3:30 a.m. a human-like face appeared at the window, bared long canines, and violently rocked and collapsed the shell until the men fled at sunrise.

Five people were camping together at dawn when they heard rapid crashing and thrashing through nearby underbrush with snapping twigs. This was followed by a loud, high-pitched scream described as like a woman screaming, estimated to be 30-50 yards away. The group was terrified and left the area immediately.
Fisherman witnesses bigfoot cross the road in front of his car
Shortly before dawn on a foggy morning, the witness was driving toward a fishing area when headlights illuminated a large fur-covered creature in the road. The creature moved across the highway and leapt up a steep roadside embankment estimated at 14 feet high. The witness was badly shaken, stopped at a cafe, and later reported the incident to county authorities.

The woman looked back and saw a tall, black, hair-covered and muscular creature walking quickly across the clearing toward the forest. Her companion slowed the car but did not see it before it disappeared into the forest.

A late-season hunter camping alone on a ridge was pinned down when something jumped onto his tent in the middle of the night. The weight broke two ribs against the gun he held on his chest. The thing growled, smelled foul, and held him like a wrestler rather than clawing.

Around two in the morning one unzipping the tent heard something massive right outside that ran past with enough force to shake the tent and fled into the forest, waking the other.
