Two motorists driving westbound on the freeway at night reported a very tall, thin, hair-covered biped crossing in front of their car toward the river. They narrowly missed striking it and lost sight of it at the guardrail. They then called a relative by cell phone to report what had happened.

A man hauling firewood was driving down a dirt road in a canyon when he spotted what he first thought was a bear near a cattle salt box. When he was about 400 yards away, the dark figure stood up on two legs and quickly walked 40 to 50 yards down into a steep creek bottom. He did not stop to look for tracks and kept driving past the spot.

He turned on a headlamp and the movement stopped behind a tree about 30 feet away, then silence followed while he lay paralyzed with fear before eventually falling back asleep. He reported the incident to the witness the next afternoon.
