Animal behaviour (2009)
A husband contacted investigators because his wife was being beaten, scratched and thrown by something unseen, leaving linear scratches in threes. The investigator surveilled the home for about a year and a half and videotaped two attacks in April 2011 accompanied by a static discharge sound and growl. After a distant mass and a deliverance prayer, the attacks stopped and she has remained free since 2011.
Sasquatch sighting (2009)
In 2009 multiple passengers on an Amtrak train passing through the Cascade Tunnel reported seeing a Bigfoot standing next to a tree just above the tracks as they exited. The witnesses did not know each other and were not on a Bigfoot outing.

A married couple drove down a mountain road around 2 a.m. The husband braked for a big hairy biped walking in front of the truck. The wife did not see it. He asked her not to tell anyone but the account reached the researcher within a day.

A young man read a newspaper story about the couple's sighting and reported his own encounter on the same road. Interview revealed his sighting occurred four and a half hours earlier the prior evening. The researcher notes the proximity suggests possibly the same animal.
Deer carcass nabbed from pickup truck in Erin (Hwy 167 at Station Way)
The witness, a contractor who collects road-killed deer, stopped to load a fresh doe into his pickup in the early morning. While seated in the cab reaching for paperwork, he felt the truck shudder and saw in the rearview mirror a dark figure reaching into the truck bed. He drove away quickly, and when he returned minutes later the newly loaded deer and a loading ramp were gone.
Daylight sighting by ferry operator at Nelson River crossing, north of Norway House
The witness filmed an unclear figure near a work site in a remote forested area. The witness showed the tape to family, after which others in the community and media became aware of it. An investigator later viewed the full tape and described it as blurry and small in frame but showing additional movements.
Single car accident in Big Thicket National Preserve
The driver claimed a dark upright figure stood in the middle of the highway in the early morning and did not move when honked at. The driver swerved to miss the figure at close range, left the highway and rolled into the woods. Emergency responders found the driver still in the car, who described the encounter after regaining consciousness.
Sasquatch sighting (2005)
A coon hunter in the Mercer Bayou area encountered a Sasquatch-like creature. The animal did not attack but lunged and splashed water as a warning to leave the area. The researcher presents this as an example of recent aggressive displays in southern bottomland habitat.
Rash of sighting reports from multiple witnesses
On a mid-afternoon in late February 2004, a group of small children near a trailer park on the southeast edge of New Town reportedly saw a large hairy bipedal animal and fled screaming toward their trailer. The mother of two of the children rushed outside and saw the animal moving quickly away through trees. The investigator did not speak directly with this family, relying on accounts passed via tribal officials and a news reporter.
02/15/04 Rensselaer County, NY: Vocalizations, with Tracks Found the Next Day
Late at night a resident went onto the porch after the outside dog became highly agitated and heard continuous loud shrieking screams, which the spouse also heard. The next morning footprints were found in deep snow leading across a field toward the forest with long strides, and a second set was reported to join the first in the woods. Photographs of the tracks were said to have been taken.
UFO sighting near San Diego (2004)
Navy aviators encountered small unidentified objects tracked on radar and video southwest of San Diego. The objects had no wings, rotors or exhaust and maneuvered intelligently. Jets attempted to chase them but the objects circled and accelerated out of sight.
Road crossing sighting by motorist
Early on February 18, 2003, the witness was driving east on Interstate 10 when lights from a passing tractor-trailer revealed a figure stepping onto the highway. He slowed, turned on high beams, and watched a tall reddish-haired non-human creature trot across both lanes and the shoulder in a few steps. The observation lasted up to about 30 seconds from about sixty to seventy yards away.

Firefighters camped by a river near an active fire watched a tall brown-haired bipedal figure on the opposite bank about 25 yards away. The figure remained visible for several minutes under flashlights. It then noticed the attention and retreated into the trees.

A woman picking berries with her sister noticed a single large footprint in a bare, soft-ground patch beside a road waterbar. She returned two days later to make a cast, which showed uneven depth attributed to slope and an embedded rock. A passing ranger observed the track during the casting.

A gamekeeper living alone in an abandoned farmhouse in the forest began experiencing a sphere of light, sounds of a baby crying, chatter and a constant feeling of being watched. One night he woke to see a huge dark figure stooped at the window looking in for several minutes. On another night he lay outside to watch the farmhouse and saw the tall figure appear without walking motion, look in, then leave. He left the location the next day and kept the story private for nearly 20 years.

While hunting deer from a tree stand in the afternoon, the witness noticed movement in a large tree about sixty yards away. He watched for about six seconds a dark, chimpanzee-like primate about three to four feet tall standing erect on a branch. The animal appeared to look toward him before turning and disappearing into foliage; its feet and lower legs were not visible.

The witness was riding in an SUV with companions that stopped to observe elk. While looking toward a gulch, the witness reported a dark upright figure walking down a ridge with its arms moving. Companions did not verify the figure because they were watching elk. The figure went into the woods and the witness lost sight of it.
Sasquatch sighting in Oklahoma (2001)
A self-described skeptic hunting from a tree stand noticed a three to four foot tall chimp-like animal in another tree about twelve feet off the ground. Its facial skin was dark brown. The sighting badly startled him because it was unexpected.
Rooks Park Investigation
In early morning fresh snow, the witness was walking a paved trail and found large barefoot tracks with a smaller set alongside. The witness followed the tracks to a wooden bridge where they were lost. The find was reported two weeks later.

On the night of August 30 the witness was camping when his dog wandered from the campsite making strange noises and a figure taller than the witness with a visible silhouette and eyes kept moving toward him, reportedly walking upright. The frightened witness fled to a nearby convenience store and called 911 at 10:54 pm. No formal police report was filed because the witness would not return to the campsite with an officer.
