The witness, a contractor who collects road-killed deer, stopped to load a fresh doe into his pickup in the early morning. While seated in the cab reaching for paperwork, he felt the truck shudder and saw in the rearview mirror a dark figure reaching into the truck bed. He drove away quickly, and when he returned minutes later the newly loaded deer and a loading ramp were gone.

A logger driving alone at night to collect a coworker saw a figure by the road and then a face in the mirror. He found a small tree blocking the road and, after getting out, heard running footsteps as a creature charged and backed off repeatedly. The creature tried to push the car off the road before the driver escaped, and the coworker later reported a similar push.

A family staying in a house in the former town in the forest woke to their car alarm. They saw a large hairy Bigfoot-like creature hitting the car with a big stick as if trying to silence it. When the father shut off the alarm with his keychain, the creature ran off.

A 10-year-old riding a bike reported being chased by a gorilla-like animal that ran on all fours. The animal allegedly grabbed the rear tire, throwing the rider over the handlebars, then bent the mountain bike in half and threw it about 20 feet up into a tree. The child ran home and an officer who investigated reportedly found the mangled bike in the tree with no explanation.

As a teenager, the witness waited alone in a truck with lights off on a dirt road while friends went for food. An upright hairy figure approached to about 30 yards in moonlight. After he honked, it screamed, shook the truck, laid an arm across the windshield, and peered into the driver window before leaving when friends returned.
Property disturbance
A sheep herder who carried a rifle was reported missing by relatives. He was found three miles away with one leg torn off, having bled to death. Drag marks showed he was pulled from his bed out the front door, while wallet, money, food and gun were untouched. Officials attributed it to a bear.
