Passing by, he glimpsed a Bigfoot side profile with heavy brow walking in the ditch, then a third set of eyes. The images replayed in his mind afterward.

Early on February 18, 2003, the witness was driving east on Interstate 10 when lights from a passing tractor-trailer revealed a figure stepping onto the highway. He slowed, turned on high beams, and watched a tall reddish-haired non-human creature trot across both lanes and the shoulder in a few steps. The observation lasted up to about 30 seconds from about sixty to seventy yards away.

Two companions were resting by their vehicles while deer hunting in the early afternoon when two bipedal creatures were seen crossing a road from west to east about two-tenths of a mile away toward pines and a swamp. The lead individual was described as a 6.5-foot light-brown male walking hunched, followed about 15 yards behind by a 5.5-foot black female with breasts who appeared to be holding something at her waist. Both were said to walk without locking their knees.

The witness was driving north on Highway 95 in the early morning hours en route to a business appointment in the Coeur d'Alene and Hayden area. He looked in his rearview mirror and saw a large, man-like creature walking across the roadway behind his vehicle. He turned around and returned to the crossing location, but the creature had disappeared into dense vegetation.

The witnesses saw it from the neck down, describing a bulky build, dark coloration, a swinging left arm, and crossing the road in about two and a half steps. An investigator later visited the same location and needed almost nine steps to cross the same stretch.

A woman driving about 50 mph on a foggy early morning slowed for large yellowish-green eyes by the road. The shape stood on two legs as a broad-shouldered silhouette by a fence post and ran across the road behind her car. When she called Fish and Wildlife, the officer said others reported a large animal described as Bigfoot.
