A man and woman were found dead at Brown Springs, the man with his neck broken and thrown from a car hood and the woman showing signs of assault and abdominal tearing. Large fresh tracks were reported near the gravel road scene. The case was described as unsolved with evidence kept quiet.

Man spots Bigfoot in field
The witness was driving a spray rig along an orchard boundary and scanning a neighboring field when a tall dark figure was seen walking about 100-150 yards away. The witness stopped the vehicle and watched from the hood as the figure moved with a smooth human-like stride into a walnut grove and did not reappear. A few days later the witness estimated the figure's height from a comparison tree and found no footprints on the hard soil.

A treasure hunter prospecting in the desert saw a figure he first thought was another prospector, then realized was a giant ape-like man. He said he had only a small pistol and fired shots that went over it, after which it turned its head toward him and left.

A young girl playing in a campground baseball field noticed everyone running toward camp. She turned to find a huge gorilla-like creature two or three feet away staring down at her. She ran in a circle around it while locked on its eyes until called, then fled to camp as the creature walked back into the woods without growling or baring teeth.
