Construction workers found a long line of large tracks in snow after an overnight storm. The investigator followed the trackway about a mile and a half through orchards, fields and a ravine. The steps were 4 to 6 feet apart in a straight line with no animal marks inside, and one clear dirt impression was cast before the trail was lost in a worked orchard.

A group of firefighters waiting in a van around three in the morning felt the vehicle shoved down. They found no visible cause but later noted large handprints in dust on the van and large footprints in burned grass nearby. Photos were said to exist but have not been recovered.

The witness reported seeing a large dark upright shadow-like figure running toward the woods, firing shots, then seeing it again near an old stable and firing again without hitting it. Afterwards the witness found a porch freezer broken into with frozen food scattered, plus white hairs and ground impressions.

Five people fishing in a remote creek area found about half a dozen very large footprints that appeared to be about a week old. The tracks ran from the creek across sandy soil toward rocky brush and were described as about 17 inches long and 10 inches wide. Casts were later made from the tracks and the find was reported in newspapers.

Children find 19" tracks in snow
Several children riding bikes on a snow-covered dirt road reported seeing footprints and walked barefoot in the snow, getting their feet cold and wet. Their mother went to look and reported finding large human-like tracks in deep snow, which were photographed.
