The witness relayed an urban legend that large footsteps were found around a bulldozer when the town was built in the 1960s. She noted there was no concrete discussion, photos, or identifiable witness. She was unsure if there was truth to it.

Sasquatch sighting

Two men and a boy exploring the swamp interior found huge four-toed tracks and left frightened. A later armed party of nine trailed the tracks, camped, and was attacked by the creature. Five men were killed before the creature was shot dead and reportedly measured at 13 feet.
