Daylight sighting by motorist along highway 149, ten miles SE of Lake City
The witness was riding as a passenger in a truck descending a mountain pass while looking for wildlife. A tall dark hairy figure emerged at the forest edge, turned uphill and walked along the treeline with a gliding gait for four to five steps until a road curve blocked the view. The witness was unable to speak at first, then asked the driver to stop, but the driver did not see the figure.

Late at night the witness looked out the front window of the home and saw a large ape-like figure moving briskly north along the gravel road in front of the property. The figure was described as about 8 feet tall, hunched forward, with very large arms and legs, seen briefly in moonlight and shadow. No other witnesses were present.

That night the party climbed the same mountain and the witness sat apart while others settled. He heard quiet brushing movement circling his position, then a long loud howl rose from the valley, and on the descent the party reported being paced, green eyeshine, and a bright head behind rocks seen on thermal by several members. As the witness took the lead near a thicket he heard a close juvenile-like two-syllable vocalization but saw nothing with his light.

The next afternoon a small party bushwhacked up a trailless mountain south of camp to scout a route for that night. They noted odd crystal rock circles, trees snapped and twisted about six feet up, and a large print with a smaller one beside it in a low between hills. The forest was noted as completely quiet.

On a preliminary night walk with the group the witness moved ahead to listen while others stayed behind. He heard twig breaks moving across his front, a group leader later reported a head peeking around a tree on thermal, another participant reported a dark hunched silhouette moving along a ridge, and the group heard chattering from downhill. The sounds stopped when approached and the group returned.

The witness had just set up his tent at a group camp when a child exploring where two hills met called out about footprints. The witness and an organizer inspected the muddy ground and found a large clear print plus partials and a smaller impression nearby, with an organizer later finding additional impressions around the hillside. Photos and a plaster cast were made of the best print.

Months later the witness returned to the same mountain with his wife during the day. They smelled a strong dead-like odor near the vehicle that later vanished, found a single barefoot-like print and then a short trackway of similar-sized prints going downhill, plus game and predator tracks. Near some rocks they felt a sudden temperature drop and mist with an uneasy feeling and noticed the woods were silent before hiking out.
Family hears loud wood knocks at Deer Lakes outside Lake City
On June 12, 2021, the witness family stopped at Upper Mill Pond to fish and watched a moose and calves from their truck. They heard an estimated 8-10 wood knocks from the west tree line from at least three different positions while vehicles came and went. The witness considered people in the woods as possible but later interpreted the sounds as Bigfoot-related after hearing another knock that night at a stargazing stop.

The witness was sitting on a rock in a high basin while hiking when they saw a large brown biped try to climb a snow cornice, fail, climb down, and walk briskly north out of view, then later reappear walking south above the cornice. About 45 minutes later the witness returned to the spot with another hiker and found handprints and footprints in the snow and photographed them. No further sighting occurred after traversing the difficult slope.

The witness and her husband were checking a friend's secluded cabin when they heard child-like hollering behind the cabin. The witness followed the sounds uphill while staying in radio contact, hearing limb-cracks like footsteps and feeling disoriented. She photographed the rock outcropping where the sounds seemed to originate. Later after charging her phone at the cabin, she examined the photo and perceived a figure standing behind a tree looking toward her.

After poultry losses and a daylight yard sighting by his wife and mother of a tan long-legged tailless animal with pointy ears and a canine muzzle, the witness set a game camera that failed to capture expected animals. Days later he saw it watching from the rimrock and shot it with a .223. It knocked back, left blood and clawless cat-like tracks, then disappeared with no further killings.

Two hikers were descending a road when they heard multiple loud tree knocks, had rocks thrown past them, smelled an intense stench, and one of them saw a dark figure watching. They fled downhill toward their vehicle while using an air horn, heard a loud guttural whoop near the car, and reported being followed for several miles.

With his coworker and brother-in-law the witness revisited the pond area to find it bulldozed, a track with missing toes, and a large log thrown into the pond with no drag marks. After sitting into the evening coyotes sounded, then a deep howl ending in a growl silenced them followed by a tree knock. The brother-in-law went quiet for days.

The witness was scouting an evening elk-hunting route near an active logging area when something caught his eye about 25 to 30 yards away. The creature turned to look at him while remaining seated, showing a face with eyes, nose and mouth and a tall crown above the eyes. The witness recorded a short phone video from two angles, then left to look for the loggers and later showed the clip at camp.

The guest and his father were bow hunting elk near Basalt in early November. After spotting distant elk, the guest noticed movement and saw a dark-haired face peering around an aspen about 60 yards away before it walked over a bench. Both were terrified and left for the truck without photographing or shooting, and later discussed whether it could have been Sasquatch.
Possible snow tracks found outside Windsor
The witness reported large footprints in a light dusting of snow near the family home. A relative photographed one of several prints arranged in a row before they melted by midday. An investigator later reviewed the photos as inconclusive and visited the site to assess the nearby river corridor as cover for travel.

During a multi-day camping trip the group smelled a terrible odor, heard knocks and gibberish chatter at night, then returned next day and fired a shotgun. Returning again that night without the wife, they heard a limb crack and a heavy thud as a rock landed by the buddy. A huge shouldered figure was seen behind the machine before they fled, later finding a high broken limb and a heavy rock.

Riding back at night the witness caught eyeshine at a pond that stood up tall and ran upright without dropping. He and his coworker approached on foot and saw it peeking from behind a tree with hands on the trunk. After the coworker racked a pistol and was told to put it away, it peeked again then ran into dark timber.
Hiking family finds possible track off trail outside Estes Park
A family of four was hiking and identifying animal tracks in a forested mountain area when the husband found a single large footprint off the trail. The print was about 13.5 to 14 inches long and about half an inch deep, with possible toe impressions, and crossed perpendicular to the trail. The husband could not leave a comparable impression in the same vicinity. The family photographed the print with a boot for scale, felt uneasy, and continued on without seeing or hearing anything that could have made it.

The witness was alone in a tent at camp while elk hunting and trying to sleep. He heard an unusually deep throat-clearing sound, then about 20 minutes later heard two rocks land near the tent with loud thuds. Shortly after, he heard drawn-out whoop-like calls coming from multiple directions around camp. He remained in the tent overnight and left after sunrise without checking for sign.
