Elk hunter spots reddish-brown sasquatch
During elk bow season the witness was tracking a wounded elk in daylight when movement was seen across a clearing. A large hair-covered biped with long arms crossed the clearing, paused at the far edge to look directly at the witness, then continued away. The witness watched for about two minutes in bright sunlight before leaving without recovering the elk or checking for tracks.
Witnesses report bigfoot tracks in mud along a pond; tracks led to the carcass of a beaver that appeared to have some of its entrails removed
While fishing at a beaver pond east of Gates, the witness found large four-toed tracks in mud that led into the water and looped back toward shore but could not be followed through brush. The next day the witness returned with a relative and plaster, confirmed the tracks were about 18 inches long and very deep, made a cast, and found a partially eaten beaver in the brush in the direction the tracks had headed. No creature was seen.

Around 3 a.m. the witness claims a large animal walked through the group's camp from dense cover while everyone listened. The witness deliberately stayed quiet to avoid provoking it. Later the campers compared notes and one said he had seen a human-like silhouette at the time they all heard the animal.
Boy sees large biped crossing road behind school bus
The witness was waiting for the morning bus in foggy, dim light when a large dark figure emerged from behind the approaching bus. The figure ran quickly across an open sagebrush valley toward ponderosa trees and the nearby forest, disappearing behind houses. The witness noted the speed and lack of any trail, and later found only faint ground marks.
Beach visitors find large footprints
Four people visiting the beach at night built a campfire in the sand. The witness noticed very large, very deep footprints with a long stride they had to leap between. They followed the prints up a five-foot embankment where the prints disappeared. No creature was seen.
Sasquatch sighting in Oregon (1994)
The second guest says in the mid-1990s while on an eight-night solo hike in southern Oregon he camped at a ridge divide and found a large bare footprint and smeared scuffle-like prints. After dark something black moved in an amphitheater about 75 to 100 feet away, drank at a pond for a minute or more on all fours, then circled his camp bipedally and stared at him with icy gray eyes before leaving. He did not use his flashlight and felt the being warned him not to.

The witness and several friends drove to the top of a desert butte late at night to continue partying. A silent light approached, hovered overhead, and shined a bright spotlight on the group, followed by several orange lights rising from the valley floor into the sky. While driving down, three of them saw a huge bipedal shape cross the road and followed it on foot, getting close enough to hear it breathing before it left silently. At sunrise the two who remained saw several tall slender gray-haired humanoids with yellow eyes peeking from cover and felt they were being escorted off the land.

The witness was talking on the phone in the kitchen in the afternoon and looked across the creek at a forested hillside after the dogs barked. She watched a tall, hairy, ape-like figure moving through the bushes for about two minutes while describing it to her sister on the phone. The figure then disappeared and was not seen again.
Hunters find bower and footprints near lake
While deer hunting, the witness found a large hut-like structure of limbs and brush with a dug-out dirt floor that was dry inside. The witness returned the next day with two companions and a camera to photograph the structure. They then found large footprints on a nearby game trail, felt watched, and left the area.

Two skateboarders riding ahead of their group heard a high scream then close low grunts off a paved bike trail. One crouched to look and saw a very hairy black bipedal animal crouched about 10 yards away that they had run past. The animal stood to about 6 to 7 feet tall, then ran upright into thick brush swinging its arms, moving very fast and loudly through deadfall before going silent. The pair fled to their companions and a later search of the dead brush found no tracks or sign.

The witness and a companion reported smelling a strong indescribable odor while in the Cascade Mountains in the early morning. The companion reportedly fell asleep for about 30 minutes after smelling it. No creature was seen and no other encounter details were described.

The witness reports hearing very loud howls coming from a forested area behind the home on multiple nights during one summer. Each bout lasted about 30 seconds, starting low then rising, and local dogs barked and seemed agitated during the sounds. The witness never saw the source of the sounds.

About 11 years ago the witness was sorting shakes outside a cabin when a tied dog began growling toward the forest. The witness saw a large hairy bipedal figure moving from tree to tree, appearing to approach while staying behind cover. The witness called two children out to watch it, and the figure left when the witness's partner arrived.

The guest, an Army combat engineer, was riding in a convoy down from a demolition site in Oregon timberland when he looked toward a recently blasted quarry. He saw three large, jet-black, hair-covered bipeds standing in the open, with broad shoulders, no visible neck, and very long arms. He watched them for about 25 seconds until the convoy turned a corner and lost sight.

The witness was part of a demolitions training convoy descending to a staging area when three hair-covered bipedal creatures were seen watching from the middle of a quarry. The middle individual was tallest and stood still while the two smaller flankers rocked side to side. Two occupants driving at dusk on a forested secondary highway in Oregon passed a very large animal eating in the middle of the road. The animal showed no fear, lifted its head to look at the car as they passed, then resumed eating. The witnesses described it as massive and solid with two-toned hair and an unusual pushed-in snout, estimating it would stand at least seven feet tall erect, and said it did not match bear, wolf, or dog familiar to them.

While tent camping with his wife, the witness was awakened around 4 a.m. by a prolonged moaning howl lasting 20-30 minutes. Their dog growled and a nearby camper's dogs barked, and the nearby camper left hurriedly before dawn. The next day the witness found no sign, but later felt an Ohio moan-howl recording matched what they heard.

They saw a large hairy figure about 100 yards away across a gorge, standing motionless on an old stump and watching them for about five minutes before turning and disappearing into the trees. The witness and a relative were lying in a tent at a forest camp at night when they heard a bipedal approach, a fast high-pitched whooping sound, and circling movement around the tent lasting much of the night. The presence at times breathed audibly next to the tent and ran off with heavy-sounding footsteps before returning quietly. In the morning they looked for tracks but found too much forest litter to see any.
Hunter remembers possible howls and footprints near Baker City
Three hunters spread out in a draw heard a prolonged moaning-howling sound likened to a weak yell for help, with two of them also hearing a loud pop nearby. They traced the sound to a barbed-wire fence with freshly broken wire and torn-up ground but found no identifiable tracks. Returning to the same area the next morning, they found a large footprint in a cow patty which they linked to the previous day's sounds.
