On opening day of deer season in 1978 or 1979, the witness waited in a tree stand in darkness and dense fog near a lake. A loud screaming sound approached from uphill, passed beneath the stand with audible brush and leaf movement, and continued on. The witness could not see the source due to fog and darkness.
