While walking on a road at night he heard branches breaking and a loud vocalization, then saw a very large dark fur-covered shape between trees on a rock face. After hearing a deep exhale-like sound and losing sight of it, he ran back to lodging.

Something large and heavy sprinted on all fours from behind him, blurred past, crossed the creek and stopped silently. He felt watched, left quickly, and later jokingly told his wife he ran into a giant wolf.

After leaving the large ship at night, the witness stopped on the sidewalk and watched a dull gray spherical object hovering roughly 800 to 1000 feet up. He observed it clearly for four to five seconds in port lighting before it shot off toward the ocean, leaving a streak of light. He heard no sound.
