Hunters have an encounter returning from hunt
Three elk hunters walking back toward camp heard a loud crash and chased what they assumed was a bull elk to the rim of a deep, steep-sided canyon. From across the canyon the reporter watched through a rifle scope as a tall, black-haired biped ran up the opposite slope on two feet and briefly turned to show its face in profile before entering the trees. The group chose not to pursue closely, later backtracked the trail toward the highway, and examined broken vegetation and footprints the following day.
Bowhunter and wife abandon deer when threatened by large, unseen animal
The witness and spouse were bow hunting in timber when something unseen followed them, starting and stopping as they moved. After the witness shot a deer, the follower vocalized loudly and thrashed brush and trees while pursuing them downhill. The pair abandoned the deer and left the timber, with the follower continuing to vocalize behind them to the timber edge.
Young picnicker sees strange creature on rocky ledge above the St. Vrain River
While gathering firewood during a family picnic along the river, the witness felt watched and looked up. He saw a large hair-covered human-like figure standing on a rocky ledge across the river. The figure looked back briefly, then turned and disappeared. The whole encounter lasted about thirty seconds.
Daylight sighting by woodsman of two bipeds stalking an elk
The witness was positioned on one mountainside watching across a valley toward an opposite slope where an elk was being stalked by two large brown animals first taken for bears. Viewed through binoculars, the two stood upright and walked on two legs, keeping the elk between them and at times hiding behind trees before entering heavy timber after about five minutes. The outcome for the elk was not seen, but the witness thought the pair probably killed it.

The guest and two companions camped by a river while fishing and kept a stump burning in a fire ring overnight. Something heavy entered the camp and moved around the tent without approaching the fire. The group shouted, and the visitor eased back into the woods rather than running.

The witness and his father were watching elk behind their home when the herd suddenly stampeded. Using binoculars they saw a tall brownish figure with black chest patches running bipedally at unnatural speed toward where the elk fled. It paused briefly then ran off and was not seen again.

The guest was five when his father took him to put pig heads in a bear bait barrel. The father left him by a tree to get more bait and the boy ran screaming back to him. The father later admitted a Bigfoot took the heads from the barrel and had tossed the barrel into a tree.

The following year the witness camped in the backcountry with two relatives. Around 2 a.m. he woke to heavy padded footsteps walking near the tent that stopped and resumed. The next morning while separated by a creek he twice heard loud breaking several hundred yards up the slope, and the group saw no game on that side of the mountain.

The witness was bow hunting alone on a ridge in Colorado when he heard an extremely loud smash like a huge tree hitting another tree. The sound repeated twice more from farther away within minutes. With lifelong hunting experience, he later concluded it was not a natural tree fall.

Three friends drove back from a day of fishing when headlights lit a large human-like figure hunched by the roadside. It looked over its shoulder with bright eyes, then took a couple steps up the hill with pumping shoulders and disappeared behind a boulder. They later returned that night with a light to retrace the bend but could not relocate the spot or find tracks.

While on a group hunting trip in the mountains, the witness heard whoops in the early morning. In the morning a nearby camp said their tent had been pelted with rocks around 1 a.m. and wondered if the witness group had done it. The teller noted many things can make such sounds.

While driving a side-by-side on a mountain road in Colorado, the witness heard brush rustling and saw a tall lean hair-covered human-like figure step across the road in two strides. The figure glanced at him, appeared to shrug, then continued into the woods. The encounter occurred in broad daylight.

About five weeks before the show the guest and companions built a large mock tree structure in the area. They left it and returned three days later to find it completely flattened without twigs standing. He contrasts this with bent lodgepole pines in the area.

The witness was on a muzzleloader hunting trip and camping with two companions. While two men rested in the tent during rain, something struck the tent fabric hard several times. Later, as the group sat around the campfire near dusk, the witness saw a very tall grey bipedal figure moving away through lodgepole pines. He and a companion briefly pursued it but it moved out of sight.

After leaving Mesa Verde and hiking canyons for days, the guest camped at an ancient fire ring. The first night he heard voices and whispered footsteps pass by. The second night he woke to see a transparent old Indigenous man sitting by his fire, who then vanished.

The witness and his cousin went out to camp and target shoot in a remote snowy clearing. After a rock strike and foul odor, they entered the woods at dark and saw a large hairy upright creature showing teeth while others vocalized around them. They fired weapons while retreating to snowmobiles, the cousin ran for the truck, and the witness held position firing for an extended period before they escaped in the truck. The cousin later found the abandoned snowmobiles torn apart.

While hiking in the mountains outside Denver the witness came across a track line with large, medium and small bare footprints going in and out of the area. He interpreted the different sizes as a group. No creature was seen.

The witness lived for two to three months in a rock overhang above a canyon stream, fishing with traps and hunting small game. A large hairy creature repeatedly raided his fish traps, exchanged rock throws, accepted camp bread, used a larger trap left for it and took deer remains. After an ice storm the witness developed severe pneumonia with high fever and could not tend his fire. He reported the creature looking in on him, leaving meat, a headless rabbit and herbs he boiled, then carrying him down the canyon over hours or days until a couple in a converted school bus found him and got him to a hospital.

The witness spent a few days watching from a hill while the wind kept his scent away. He watched adult females keep young in trees, lay with babies, coo, pet them and release a sweet spiced-honey-like scent. When a distant holler sounded the group got up and moved away.

The witness was returning to his mining claim camp on the Spanish Peaks when he smelled rotten potatoes and heard rocks falling. He looked up about 600 feet and watched a large dark bipedal creature with hands moving above timberline. He believed it never saw him and he could not sleep that night.
