After the family guard dog died, the household noticed an absence of bears, deer and other animals and a series of odd events. Large and strategic trees blocked paths to the creek, owl-like hoots and coyote-like sounds approached each other then turned violent, and something breathed, growled, scraped and slapped at windows, trailer and shed, mostly when the witness worked nights. The other dog became afraid to go out alone.

A delivery driver broke down on a highway after crossing into Mississippi and waited in the back of a tall van during a storm. A strange creature appeared face-to-face at the open cargo door, stuck its head inside, screamed, and shook the vehicle. The driver grabbed a pistol, struggled with it, fired through the doorway, and saw at least two figures before slamming the door.

The witness was hiking upstream beyond a waterfall with two children and stopped to rest on large boulders by the river. A deer ran past, followed by a rock strike and the appearance of four hair-covered figures that killed the deer and gathered around it. The largest figure noticed the family, charged a short distance to their boulder, and screamed at them before stepping back after the witness shouted and another figure vocalized. The family walked out in shock, drove back to their cabin, cut their vacation short, and later sought counseling for distress and sleep problems.

The witness, then 16, left a guided redwood hiking tour with a cousin and went about 100-150 yards off trail to a fallen tree. Coming around the exposed roots within about 10 feet, the witness saw a reddish-haired, broad-backed creature squatting with its back turned, first thinking it was a bear. The creature rose to near seven feet with human-like arms and legs and began turning, prompting both to flee to the tour group while hearing pursuit to the side; the witness later rationalized it as an escaped orangutan before concluding it was a Sasquatch.

From very close in dense woods they heard two male-like voices conversing and approaching but never emerging. The voices stopped without footsteps away, and years later the couple recognized the sound in a recorded vocalization on a television show.

Months later the witness returned alone on a four-wheeler to explore a gated switchback road he had been warned away from. He hiked through an oak ravine to look at old trailers, then felt watched as the woods went silent. He saw a tall black creature camouflaged between a boulder and tree staring at him, fled to his machine, and crashed through brush piled across the trail on his way out.

Months after feeling compelled to place a crucifix on a lopped oak tree by a road, the witness drove by late at night and found a fresh car crash against that tree. One passenger was in shock and the driver was fatally injured and died at the scene. The witness and two friends were talking in a girl's long dirt driveway at night near a stream and farm buildings. They noticed a small white light that grew closer until a silent boomerang-shaped craft with three lights hovered low overhead then moved away slowly. The witness ran inside for a disposable camera but could not find it in time.

The witness and a companion were night fishing for catfish when they heard water slapping and a splash. About half an hour later a large rock flew over their heads from behind and hit the water. They left immediately and later wondered if it had been a sasquatch.
