Growl in Ohio
Shortly after high school the witness and his cousin camped beside a river after hauling kayaks and a towed canoe uphill. In the night the witness heard steps and a loud growl beside the tent and saw a large dark shadow in moonlight. Next day belongings were scattered, food was gone, and the heavy canoe was up in a tree.

The caller said he and two companions were night-hunting with roof spotlights when they spotted red eyes and fired on a crouching creature. The creature stood about seven to eight feet tall and ran on two legs before being shot multiple times and falling near a creek. They later tracked blood and footprints to a plum thicket where the witness shot a six-foot hair-covered female at close range and found a larger dead male behind her.

When the witness was 12, he went with his father and others to build a fishing pond by blasting a small canyon near Island Park. The next morning he and his father walked down and found large bare footprints in fresh mud on a game trail. The prints measured about 16 and three-quarter inches long with about a 45-inch step, ran about 75 yards across the mud and continued about 200 yards before the adults decided to turn back. One landowner later covered a print and made casts, which the witness never saw.

The guest and his wife were sitting in a borrowed van in the driveway late at night when the wife saw someone run past and a loud whoop and growling started beside the van. The creature shook the van and was lit by brake lights, then the father fired a shotgun from the porch and it leapt across the driveway into the woods. Later that night rocks were thrown at the trailer damaging a fan and siding, and next morning bent van metal, foot impressions, feathers and a missing chicken were found.

The witness took two daughters for an evening hike on a trail near home where large trees blocked the path. The youngest daughter froze after seeing movement, and the witness ran forward to see a large hairy human-like figure by a tree staring at them. After a tense standoff with rocking motion, the group backed away and returned to the car. The middle daughter had recorded video, and later visits found large bare footprints where the figures had been.

The witness was present in Washington woods on the day a translucent figure was recorded on video. She observed a Sasquatch about five feet tall that ran away and did not seem intimidating. The sighting convinced her that the creatures exist.

On a September afternoon the witness and her mother watched for several minutes a hairless dog-like animal across the fence. It had a dog face and muzzle, longer neck and legs, roundish ears, a skinny rat tail, and shiny purplish-black skin, and behaved calmer than a coyote or fox.

On the trail the witness found a white German Shepherd-like dog tucked under brush with a crudely built two-foot teepee of branches over it. Both back legs were twisted and broken with bone exposed and the lower stomach cut with intestines laid beside, with no smell and a faded bandana on its neck.

In the evening inside without the kitchen light, the witness glassed behind a tree about 200 feet away. She saw a face in left profile with upper teeth and canines showing, first with mouth open as if smelling, then changing to a wide Joker-like teethy smile. It looked toward her then toward the treeline and stayed still for minutes before she stopped watching.

At night the witness shone a flashlight from her pool deck over the fence. When the light died and she rattled it, something low rose straight up to face level near a cedar branch about five feet high, showing a round dark head, then dropped down very fast and quietly.

Over time behind her home the witness heard a lion-like roar, crisp whistles answering human whistles within seconds, a wood knock answering her son's sword hitting a swing set within five seconds, a violent tree shake with a loud high-pitched screech after crumpling a bag, and later paired whistles moving quickly through the property.

While walking with her kids out of the woods to the wood line, the witness found a large domestic pig lying dead with a small straight incision in its lower stomach and intestines piled beside it. She notes no way to dump it there and no normal wild boar presence.

The guest and his nephew were fishing early in the morning and built a fire. They heard what sounded like a baby crying, then deathly quiet, then a yodel-like scream whoop from the woods.

He estimated it was about six inches wide and 14 to 15 inches long, far too large for a normal person. The find led him to search the internet and start listening to the show.

The guest's son woke the guest to listen to a loud high-pitched long vocalization that agitated a distant dog and then silenced a nearby dog. The next day the two followed the direction of the sound and found a large barefoot-like track and a smaller juvenile-like track in ice on a deer trail.
