Crouching in tall grass, he came within about twenty yards of a tan, long-haired, human-faced creature that appeared startled. The creature looked at him and then left on all fours, and companions who had not seen it dismissed it as a bear.

Late at night the friend heard slow footsteps approaching and then both heard extremely loud roars and whoops from very close in the trees. The witness fired a pistol toward the sounds and a second caller answered from another direction, then fled with the friend. Returning at daylight, nothing had been disturbed and no tracks or blood were found.

At the new house in October the witness heard a different howl, knocked back, and saw red glowing eyes at the forest edge by the cemetery. The next day he and his friend found a track where it had come in. He wondered if it was a different creature such as a dogman or a different accent.

While camping 52 days between rentals, the witness says the same family used the campground area. Howls similar to Ohio howls with a different accent were heard around 2-3 a.m., and the same eye-glow was seen at the campsite.

Over about 18 months visiting a remote grow 2-3 times weekly, the witness reports being paralleled, escorted out, growled at, and charged. Specific daytime incidents include cutting the grow when the large male growled and pushed trees down, and a May triple charge stopped when he chambered his pistol while watering plants.

On the night of moving out, five individuals approached the property. The two adults stayed 50-75 yards back while three juveniles of different ages came within 10 yards of the deck for about 45 minutes, swaying, watching, and making growl-like practicing sounds.

A week later the witness and friend saw blinking greenish eye-glow from the woods by the barn. The witness ran to a chest-high corral and watched a huge V-shaped figure without a visible head walk away 30 yards away. He estimated over 11 feet tall and matched it to the large tracks next morning.

The larger pulled down and snapped a large limb, looked back, then both moved quickly through the forest. The sighting was also reported by others downhill and shut down night operations.

When the witness returned after snow, she and the farmhand found large footprints circling the house and pausing at windows.

A huge hairy creature jumped a fence and stood in the road, forcing her to brake hard within about 15 to 20 feet. They stared at each other for about a minute before it left down a wooded hill and disappeared. She then drove home and told her mother, whose silent nod suggested prior knowledge.

While lost at night looking for a lakeside camp, the witness smelled a strong fecal-skunk odor and saw a tall gray long-haired mass sidestep behind a tree from his quad. He later got repeatedly turned around trying to retrieve his truck and stopped at a farmhouse gate where a large round very white light hovered above and behind the house, making the walls glow.
