The witness was driving a water truck north of Fort McMurray and stopped for caribou crossing. Two bear-like animals approached and stood upright, revealing a tall brown female and a smaller black young male. A much larger male carrying a caribou appeared behind the truck, roared, charged, and struck the truck as the witness drove away, leaving a dent.

The witness was on the back porch at night when a noise was heard moving in the wooded hillside. The witness shone a flashlight into the woods and saw reddish eyeshine staring back for about 20 seconds, during which it blinked. The animal then turned and walked away uphill deeper into the woods, and the witness later measured a reference tree to estimate the eye height at about 7 feet.

The witness and spouse found two distinct sets of human-like bare footprints in snow near their home on a clear mid-morning. Several children playing outside exchanged yelps and whistles with an unseen source that sounded progressively closer, moving from the mountaintop to the woods' edge. A large wet adult creature and a smaller juvenile were then seen at close range crossing the road, throwing material at the car, before disappearing into the forest.

On the second evening the witness walked a sandy horse trail about a half mile from an earlier brush trail. He reported hearing an unfamiliar screech/growl, answering wood knocks, loud stomping nearby, and a rock thrown past him, followed by crashing in the brush. He then found a very large bare footprint that he photographed with his shoe for scale before leaving quickly without ever seeing the source.

At dusk the witness was walking a relative's dog on a road when they saw a short hairy biped crossing the road about 200 feet ahead. The figure crossed the road and a ditch in one stride and continued uphill into the woods while the dog stood rigid and silent. The witness did not follow and turned back.

Late at night the witness took the dog into the backyard overlooking a river and heard grunt-like vocalizations from the opposite bank. From the deck the witness heard something large moving through brush and keeping pace with them, then heard a loud crack, a large splash, wading steps, and a rock thrown across the river. The witness heard water dripping and shaking off fur and a strange snort before the animal moved away through underbrush. The next morning a previously intact rotten stump across the river was found split with half lying at the river's edge.

The witness recorded the sounds on a cell phone and suspects the source used the barn in winter.

They stopped and watched a very tall, light-colored illuminated figure moving in a small circle near a mailbox, heard a short powerful grunt, and then saw reddish eyes watching from the woods. The eyes retreated deeper, dropped low and disappeared while the group returned to the cottage.

The witness was driving home at night on a dirt backroad when something struck the truck, leaving scratches and a dent on the passenger door. After calling for help, the witness with two relatives found footprints along the road and photographed them. While photographing they saw green eye-shine above the brush and a large upright shadowy outline, then heard wood knocks, growling and heavy footsteps before the eyes disappeared.

An object was thrown through the trees over him and a stone struck the tree he was in, after which he yelled toward the sounds and left for his truck.
