The witness was walking in with a dim light when he heard bipedal steps paralleling him at an angle behind. The steps stopped when he stopped and resumed when he walked. He waited until daylight but never saw or heard anything further.
Unidentified sound in South Carolina
The witness and his son were at a stand in the evening after the son shot a deer. While crossing a creek to recover it they heard strange high-pitched noises up the creek. Both noticed it while loading the deer, and the witness could not identify it as any known animal.
