Child camping near Medford feels watched, hears scream
The witness was camping overnight with family at a campsite near Medford. In the middle of the night the witness stepped briefly outside the camper and felt watched. Immediately after returning to bed, the witness heard a very loud scream that seemed to fill the campsite. A relative later said they had heard the same sound, and the witness was glad to leave.
Motorists sleeping by US 101 awakened to rocking motorhome
The witness and a companion pulled their motorhome off Highway 101 late at night to rest. The vehicle was rocked three times over about ten minutes. After going outside, they heard a loud scream and watched a huge bipedal form run through the trees and across a stream. A patrol officer arrived shortly after and told them to leave the pull-off.

The witness and a high-school friend walked up a creek bed looking for a planting spot and found about ten large bare tracks bigger than the witness's own feet. After examining the tracks for a few minutes they heard an extremely loud high-pitched shriek lasting several seconds from a few hundred feet upslope. They interpreted it as threatening and left immediately and never returned.

On a later visit to his friend's house, the guest heard a loud tree-ripping sound and saw a tall black figure. The nine-foot-tall man-shaped creature stepped straight over a chest-high barbed wire fence without rotating its hips, crossed the road, and walked down into the field toward the boys. It came within about forty feet with its head down and arms swinging before the boys fled to the friend's basement.

The guest recalls being six and playing with a friend in a small field near houses. They found a loosely woven, bird-nest-shaped structure of willow-like sticks about an inch thick. He thought an animal made it and did not connect it to Bigfoot until years later.

He watched a nine-foot black male cross the road, then sat near huckleberries where a blonde-brown female and toddler fed, mimicked him, held his hand, and interacted closely. A juvenile female appeared, the male threw down a tree and left scat and tracks, and other campers later said they saw two of the animals.

The witness was hiking with family on a mountain trail when an adult noticed a dome of intertwined saplings off the trail. The witness stepped inside the structure to look around. A stranger on the trail warned that touching it left the witness marked, which the witness found amusing.

The witness was walking at night with a group of friends and relatives along a road. The group saw a creature standing beside a telephone pole ahead on the shoulder. They watched it for several minutes while it stared back without moving, then turned back toward their cabins.

Hundreds of very large footprints were found in hard river silt and followed for about two miles up the riverbank and into dense bush. The maker reportedly dug with its toes on a hillside climb and grabbed trees, uprooting smaller ones. A large hairy animal about 6 to 7 feet tall moving upright was seen and watched walking about 200 yards until out of sight. The witness remained briefly out of fear, then ran home, insisting the animal was not a bear.
Man recalls early morning sighting while squirrel hunting near Salyersville
The witness was sitting quietly while squirrel hunting in Magoffin County in late September 1972 when he saw a large reddish-brown creature about 70 yards away. The creature walked away on two legs from right to left, pausing briefly to look around before continuing out of sight, apparently unaware of the witness. Afterward the witness found several large human-shaped footprints where the creature had walked.

A teenager and an older neighbor spent the night on a boat at a marina to catch suspected vandals. During the night the teenager saw a huge hair-covered figure crouched at an overturned trashcan scooping garbage, then stand upright and stare briefly. The figure stepped over the trashcan, sprang up an embankment, and disappeared into brush, leaving disturbed dew, strewn garbage, and broken brush.

When the witness was about seven, the family found very large footprints on a Lake Superior beach. While leaving through the woods toward the car they heard loud screeching and something large jumping nearby without being seen. They left quickly in the car, with the witness feeling the source was too big to be people.
Memory told of family encounters near Granite City
The witness reports that while staying at the parents' rural property with a friend around dusk in late summer 1972, they observed a large hairy figure filling the barn doorway from about a hundred yards away. The pair ran to tell parents inside the house, and when they returned the figure was gone. The witness estimated the figure at eight feet tall, broad enough to fill the doorway, and brownish-black in color.
