Two friends camped near a river and went for late-night fishing with a lantern. Rocks were thrown at them from across the wide fast river, landing near them repeatedly. They returned to camp to find others in tents and later concluded no person could have thrown such heavy rocks that far.

The next day while grouse hunting alone the witness heard indistinct mumbling voices again and returned to camp.

Over many years the Baker Unit of an old prison was reported haunted by the spirit of an inmate thrown from the fourth tier to his death. Inmates repeatedly woke to see a figure staring at them from their bunk and officers saw logbooks and other desk items slide off without visible cause on camera. The guest personally calmed a screaming inmate who reported the figure and later with a partner heard and saw on camera a heavy secured staircase gate slam shut with no one present.

While hiking alone about 12 miles out on a remote forested trail, the guest smelled a powerful foul odor, heard subtle branch breaks, and noticed total silence. He saw a tall hairy upper body with one arm peeking from behind a large tree, which then withdrew and vanished. About 100 feet farther the figure stepped fully onto the trail, stood looking at him, then turned back into the woods where the guest later found a small purple beaded bracelet placed on a sapling.

The guest was driving west on Highway 2 toward work on the graveyard shift at about 50 miles per hour with several vehicles behind him. He watched a very tall figure step out of riverside vegetation and cross the highway in about three steps without looking at traffic. It passed behind a tiny roadside chapel where its torso was visible above the roof, then continued through a cornfield toward a distant tree line while nearby drivers pulled over or swerved.

In his early twenties the guest bushwhacked to a remote trailless high mountain lake to look for Sasquatch and camped overnight. He woke at night to a high-pitched howling unlike coyote, and in the morning found a large track impression in mud in front of his tent. He felt an urgent need to leave, hurried down hearing branches cracking behind him, and the urgency lifted when he reached sunshine and the creek.

The witness and his brother were sleeping in a small old cabin when something struck the metal garage door. Both woke, and afterward found small marble-sized rocks on the moss outside the door. The witness later interpreted this as rock-throwing behavior.

The witness woke in a three-sided bunkhouse at scout camp and saw a tall hairy biped walking down a maintenance road about 30 feet away. He watched its back, shoulders, buttocks and upper legs as it walked casually and grabbed a tree limb overhead. He and his bunkmate later measured the limb at about 10 feet high and estimated the creature at about eight feet tall.

He noticed two relatively large red eyes at about head level roughly one hundred yards away. With headlights off and little ambient light, he could see no figure and hurried inside frightened.
