The guest had walked an area the day before and saw nothing. The next day he walked the same area with a companion and found a large human-like footprint with toes and heel. He took it as confirmation because it had not been there earlier.

The guest was standing on a private property with two others. He and one companion happened to look the same direction and saw a large soft glow come on and go off nearby. Both saw it at the same time.

The witness fetched binoculars but could not center it, and it appeared to shift position when looked at directly while drifting slowly. The witness realized he had walked far from the house toward it and was called back.

A week later the witness was alone closing a garage in the dark and noticed a glow on white rocks where car headlights would show. A ball of light rose over the hill and stopped, lighting the rocks with a soft glow. The witness started walking toward it, then became frightened and returned to the house without looking back.

When the witness was young, the witness and a younger sibling were outside at night watching bats by the yard light. They heard a strange prolonged sound the witness now calls a howl. Nothing was thought of it until later summer events.

The witness and companions arrived at the family cabin after dark and parked on the hill above it. While unloading with the trunk open they heard a very loud stick break and shuffling in the brush that seemed to track their movements. One companion shined a light, saw nothing, then ran to the cabin followed by the witness.

As a young child the witness repeatedly woke late at night feeling compelled to look out the bedroom window. In a tree yards away the witness saw a large hairy figure clinging to the trunk and leaning forward. At times it curled its lip to show teeth, and its eyes reflected red from a nearby security light.

After the road encounter the large group waited quietly then called once and received escalating replies from many directions. The callers mimicked owls, crows, roosters and other animals while closing in on three sides, with silent heat signatures behind. The mood shifted from playful to threatening with infrasound effects, forcing a hurried load-up while the large beige male swatted a companion and the group drove away amid loud noise.

While driving toward a calling spot, the group encountered two large individuals crossing the road, the larger beige and estimated at 11 to 12 feet. The larger disappeared into thick pines while the smaller repeatedly tried to run ahead and recross in front of the truck. The driver blocked it several times under headlights and spotlights until it left into the woods.

The witness returned to an area called AP Road at night and heard many varied vocalizations from multiple directions. The sound-makers moved around the group but never approached closely. No individuals were seen on this visit.

Arriving late at a camp in an old state park, the witness gave a loud call and immediately received a loud scream from less than a hundred yards uphill. A female then gave repeated rally calls while retreating with young. A companion captured the sequence on a recorder, later preserved only as a copy.

While riding four-wheelers with a companion and a small child, the witness crested a ridge and saw five black figures rise from tall sage and run quadrupedally at very high speed. The largest stopped at distance, stood briefly to look, then all cut into the woods. The witness later estimated the largest at six and a half to seven feet when standing.

After moving to northeast Mississippi, the witness turned into his driveway and caught an eight-foot Neanderthal-type male in his headlights. The creature left the road, ran down a bank, jumped a creek and entered the woods. The witness later measured three successive leaps of 15, 21 and 23 feet.

The witness later saw a female built very heavily like the Patty subject, with distinct breasts. It had somewhat less facial hair than Patty appears to have. The sighting was fairly close.

The witness was night driving with his girlfriend through fog when he saw two jet-black figures standing in a marshy field off the road. The larger figure had very wide shoulders with its head set low, and it turned its upper body toward the smaller one as they passed. He said nothing at the time and later returned in daylight and found no stumps, signs, or poles that could explain them.

The witness was grouse hunting alone in the woods when he startled something to his left. A black upright figure ran incredibly fast across the woods without crashing sounds and stopped behind a distant tree. It stepped out, stared directly at the witness, did not wave back, then stepped back behind the tree and was gone when the witness walked up.

The witness camped in a remote wooded site with his partner and woke late at night to see a large hairy head looking down over the tent. He covered up and fell back asleep. Around 3:30 in the morning he left the tent and saw the figure standing behind trees about 150 feet away in moonlight, with broad shoulders, a huge head with no visible neck, and a hand on a tree, before he backed back to the tent.

The witness and a friend were fishing along a wooded river gorge and noticed a rotten musky urine odor. While hiking and fishing back downstream they heard shuffling and footsteps in leaves. The witness felt watched, turned toward the sounds, then heard a deep guttural growl that felt physical in the chest and backed toward the river while the friend ran ahead.
