While following what looked like a killed deer across a creek, the witness found large canine-like tracks and a small human-like footprint with a pressed circle. He found more blood further on, then heard growling from dense brush he could not see through, so he backed away.

On his own large private property the witness found a marked sapling deliberately broken above his ribbon. He also found trees uprooted, turned upside down, and reset firmly in the ground. He treats an area beyond those trees as a boundary he does not cross.

While cleaning hunting blinds the witness followed strange sign thinking it was a poacher. The trail led into a narrow passage between a slough and creek. He found himself facing a very tall creature with a smaller one behind it and two more flanking him, then backed away and fled.

The witness and his younger cousin snuck into a forbidden area to hunt a large buck from a tall metal stand. They smelled a strong odor and watched a hairy creature emerge in pines about 75 yards away. After the cousin accidentally fired buckshot, the creature charged, smashed the stand legs, destroyed both guns, and the boys fled home.
Whoop in Louisiana
The witness and his younger brother followed a blood trail for a shot deer in the evening. They heard whooping and howling that drew closer as the blood trail ended in a large puddle with no further sign. The brother left for the truck and the mother at home also heard the sounds.

Late at night the witness went onto the steps to fetch something from a truck. Under a flashlight she saw a very tall brown figure standing by the truck. She fumbled for the door without turning around and it ran behind a nearby building.

The witness went to check another stand and heard whistling from two sources pacing back and forth on both sides of a fence and branch. Feeling hemmed in, he fired a shotgun into the thicket. The sounds stopped and he left.

The witness eased down a hog trail toward a wallow area. He saw a black figure hiding behind young pines watching him, seeing its head and torso and broad shoulders. Once it realized it was spotted it crashed away through briars sounding very large.

The witness hobbled to a box stand near the pond. Something heavy landed near him though no trees were overhead. He then heard whistling and something pacing back and forth in the thicket blocking his exit until it walked away.

The witness was walking a road through the family property to look for trespassers. Just off the road on a cow trail to a pond he found a single deep human-like track in hard dry sandy ground. He covered it and brought game officials who photographed it and said it was not human or bear.

The witness was alone in an inner tube fishing under a full moon when he felt dread and heard a scream and bushes moving. Several large mesquite trees were shaken from the base at once while he felt rumbling pressure in his chest. He kicked to shore, abandoned his gear in waders, and drove out through brush.
Wood knock in Mississippi
The witness was deer hunting alone when he heard repeated wood knocks and then bipedal footsteps circling him. He saw a dark face with an angry eye peering from foliage in front while movement closed in behind, feeling an ambush attempt. He fired a shot behind him, heard four creatures run off on two legs, then heard crow-like calls.

The witness and his son hiked in the Paradise area, noticed a bad smell, unusual tracks, and dark woods, then showed track photos to rangers who stopped talking. Later on a lower trail they saw a dark upright figure standing by a tree about 100 meters away. They observed it through a monocular, saw it move, left uneasy, and returned to find it gone.

The co-host says the first one he saw in northern Minnesota was a northern meat-eating variety he calls Wendigo. It lacked a snout and had black claw-like structures that looked almost like talons.

While standing on a ridge calling for her husband, the guest heard a loud deep voice from deep in the kettle where no people were, saying hello twice. She went back inside and found her husband had been inside the house all along.

While clearing driftwood at the guest's kayak camp with workers and his sister present, small trees began shaking violently and a boulder rolled down. The guest then saw a large creature between two trees at close range that locked eyes and grimaced showing large teeth. The group fled by dinghy to the tour boat and left for a dock, later measuring the standing impressions at about seven feet four.

A few days before the October chum opening, the guest and three others were anchored off Village Island when banging, chirping whistles and a strong stink were noticed. In the spotlight two upright creatures were seen on the beach, one larger in the grass and one smaller below, which crouched and covered their faces. Rifles were aimed but not fired, and the figures later left into the bush, with further eye-shine, scenting sounds, and a tree bent as one departed.

The guest recalled living on Village Island in his mid-20s with other young men. For one late-summer to fall period they tried to fall asleep before dark to avoid hearing prolonged howling. He described the howling as not wolves.

The witness and a companion were walking a foggy morning trail toward a lake overlook when a heavy object crashed down through the canopy nearby. They then heard fast, childlike chattering from off the trail that continued as they walked. On the return trip they heard the chattering again from farther away.
Scream in Ohio
The witness was sleeping in a camper parked by the woods on a relative's property when loud breathing and screaming circled the camper for many minutes. The witness's father stepped outside with a flashlight and the sound seemed to come from the woods and echo for miles. Next morning they found a nearby tree branch freshly stripped of bark.
