When the witness returned after snow, she and the farmhand found large footprints circling the house and pausing at windows.

A huge hairy creature jumped a fence and stood in the road, forcing her to brake hard within about 15 to 20 feet. They stared at each other for about a minute before it left down a wooded hill and disappeared. She then drove home and told her mother, whose silent nod suggested prior knowledge.

The witness has lived on a family farm for many years and often sits on the back deck at night. From the deck she repeatedly heard wood knocks and occasional whoop-like calls, sometimes answered from different directions. She never saw a creature during these listening sessions.

While lost at night looking for a lakeside camp, the witness smelled a strong fecal-skunk odor and saw a tall gray long-haired mass sidestep behind a tree from his quad. He later got repeatedly turned around trying to retrieve his truck and stopped at a farmhouse gate where a large round very white light hovered above and behind the house, making the walls glow.

Shortly after high school the witness and his cousin camped beside a river after hauling kayaks and a towed canoe uphill. In the night the witness heard steps and a loud growl beside the tent and saw a large dark shadow in moonlight. Next day belongings were scattered, food was gone, and the heavy canoe was up in a tree.

The caller said he and two companions were night-hunting with roof spotlights when they spotted red eyes and fired on a crouching creature. The creature stood about seven to eight feet tall and ran on two legs before being shot multiple times and falling near a creek. They later tracked blood and footprints to a plum thicket where the witness shot a six-foot hair-covered female at close range and found a larger dead male behind her.

When the witness was 12, he went with his father and others to build a fishing pond by blasting a small canyon near Island Park. The next morning he and his father walked down and found large bare footprints in fresh mud on a game trail. The prints measured about 16 and three-quarter inches long with about a 45-inch step, ran about 75 yards across the mud and continued about 200 yards before the adults decided to turn back. One landowner later covered a print and made casts, which the witness never saw.

The guest and his wife were sitting in a borrowed van in the driveway late at night when the wife saw someone run past and a loud whoop and growling started beside the van. The creature shook the van and was lit by brake lights, then the father fired a shotgun from the porch and it leapt across the driveway into the woods. Later that night rocks were thrown at the trailer damaging a fan and siding, and next morning bent van metal, foot impressions, feathers and a missing chicken were found.

The witness took two daughters for an evening hike on a trail near home where large trees blocked the path. The youngest daughter froze after seeing movement, and the witness ran forward to see a large hairy human-like figure by a tree staring at them. After a tense standoff with rocking motion, the group backed away and returned to the car. The middle daughter had recorded video, and later visits found large bare footprints where the figures had been.
