About a year later the guest clacked sticks together while gathering firewood at his sister's house, then later heard from his bedroom window a long 30-second scream that rose from a brake-like screech to an elongated howl and deep guttural end. The guest walked from his uncle's house across a creek and pasture toward a creek with waterfalls when he heard loud irregular banging from the woods. Approaching the sound he heard a strange higher-pitched vocalization, retreated while calling his brother, then ran home. An hour later his brother knocked on a tree near the house and received a distant knock in reply.

The guest took his family camping including young children and a puppy. After being harassed by wild horses on a walk, they heard a growl near the tent at night and saw crouching yellow eyes, then after going to bed heard repeated hits on the same spot of the tent roof and his wife heard stick-banging while packing, prompting a nighttime departure.

On the most recent visit the guest used a night vision monocular on a tripod and saw an eye with brown center and yellowish-white surround staring back from the trees. He could see only half a shiny black-haired face behind a tree, thought it smiled showing large perfect square teeth, and his companion agreed it was time to leave.

After dark they saw yellow eyes downhill and another set uphill, smelled a sudden rotten odor, stayed about 40 minutes, and while driving out the son said he heard something running and breathing in the bush alongside the car while sitting stiff and silent.

When the guest was about fourteen with a friend, they hiked to the top of a bluff and started down a dry ravine. While stopped halfway, a low deep awful growl sounded a few feet behind them. Terrified and unwilling to turn around, they both bolted down the rocky ravine.

About six months before the interview the guest got up in the morning to get coffee. As he entered the kitchen a small golden yellow ball about a foot off the floor came around the cupboard. It drifted by his feet and disappeared behind him.
