Two agents hiking in the dark to check an abandoned ranch house were hit from behind by an extremely bright brief flash with no apparent source. They then watched four or five light sources near the house that did not illuminate surroundings and moved in a prancing manner before fading.

While eating lunch he heard a bark from behind, did a tree knock, and shortly after heard a tree being pushed over to his left. He saw a very dark massive shape in cover and chose to leave for safety rather than approach.

While half stayed by the vehicles, both groups reported seeing a light that looked like an approaching flashlight, though no one was between them. Those by the vehicles saw a light rise from the ground to light the canopy twice and drop back down.

When the team returned that night they found an X made of two branches across the parking spot that had not been there earlier in the day. After a partial night walk they returned to find two smaller sticks beneath it rearranged into a second X. A dash camera aimed at the spot recorded nothing.

The next day the team returned to the night site to look for sign. They found toe and heel impressions measured at 15.6 inches, spaced several feet apart and heading back toward the creek. The trail led to the tree where the thermal figure had been, with prints around it suggesting something had stood and watched.

Audio recorders left around camp overnight captured three loud steps described as booms. On playback the sound was described as seeming to say a team member's name between pounds. The guest notes the recorder was placed just below where he had been sleeping.

When the witness was a child living in South Florida, relatives returning from a drive-in theater reported a strange light and the household went outside. They watched a round white plasma-like sphere hovering low over the woods about half a mile away. It dripped glowing material that dissipated, then shot straight up and vanished.
