After hearing movement and glimpsing something brown through brush, he found fresh large prints beside a muddy pool. A huge limb then cracked and fell, frightening him and the dog into running to open ground.

The witness drove to Salt Fork State Park on a sunny spring day to see the waterfall at Hosak's Cave. While hiking in from the empty parking lot he was struck by small stones and then by a baseball-sized rock near the ankle. He confronted the source about ten feet away and saw only the upper face with black eye-whites and golden-brown irises, brown leathery skin and grass-like concealment before leaving quickly.

The witness was talking on the phone in the kitchen while watching the forested hillside across the creek. After noticing unusual barking and moving bushes, she saw a tall, broad, hairy figure moving through the brush for about two minutes before it disappeared. She narrated what she was seeing to a relative on the phone and then locked the doors feeling scared and excited.

The witness and a companion drove into a forested area near a butte and lava flow to watch the sunset, then walked a short distance down a trail. They heard grunting and movement in dense brush that seemed to follow them for about a quarter mile. After returning to the car, they heard loud screaming and vigorous shaking of nearby bushes at close range, then left quickly in the car.

While hiking near a creek behind a store, the witness saw what looked like a fallen tree or stump with eye-like features and limbs in a crouched pose. The witness left a rock pile as a marker and briefly left to get a camera. On returning about 15 minutes later, the figure was gone and the rock pile had been knocked over.

While exploring up alongside Bigfoot Creek where branches had been bent across the trail, the guest noticed a [name withheld] patch on the forest floor. It was a circle about eight feet across made of laid [name withheld] break-off branches with no nearby trees they could have fallen from. He concluded something had placed them as a nest.

On return visits the guest noticed older broken tops that had regrown, suggesting decades of activity. He collected a large scat pile straddled by large foot impressions but never had it tested. He also found a high break at fourteen feet with no climbing damage and a nearby twenty-two inch heavy impression with a twig pressed in.

Late at night the guest walked to the kitchen while others slept and looked out the dining room window. He saw a very tall, wide, fur-covered figure standing by a tree with yellow eye shine. After watching briefly he ran back to his bedroom and hid.

He noticed a large shape bent over near the treeline that he first mistook for a person, then saw it stand upright and motionless. He pulled alongside and described a very tall brown broad-chested figure that snorted, then he became frightened and drove away fast.
