The witness and a companion fished in a restricted watershed and stayed late to leave under cover of darkness. While biking out on the service road they hit a strong rancid smell they could not source and both felt they were being watched in still, quiet conditions. They left without seeing anything and did not return.
Campers hear loud scream in National Forest
The witness and a relative were camping in the Colville National Forest when they heard a loud howl or scream from the woods northwest of their campsite in the early morning. The sound was compared to a recording attributed to a Bigfoot group and followed a couple of hours of complete forest silence. No visual contact was reported.

Friends of the reporter were flying a small plane toward a skydiving event when they reportedly saw a Sasquatch-like figure walking on a road. The witness was driving toward Yakima with two young companions along a road by the river while watching for wildlife. The witness noticed a large dark figure at the water's edge behind bushes. The witness was camping with family near Fish Lake and sitting around a campfire at night with five others. The group heard a very loud whistling-screaming sound that was close at first and then faded. Later that night the witness heard similar sounds from much farther away.
Two boys see a large animal wading in pond near Morton
Two companions had spent the day fishing at dredged ponds and were leaving at dusk when they heard splashing. On the far side of a pond they saw a dark, broad-shouldered figure standing chest-deep in water with its back to them, repeatedly raising its arms to slap the water. They ran to a nearby house to report what they had seen.

While camping and fishing at a remote lake, the witness was alerted by a companion to a possible animal on the hillside. The witness then saw a creature stand from behind a bush about 75 yards away, stare briefly, and dart into the woods. Minutes later it reappeared higher on the steep hillside, ran across openings, jumped a ravine, and walked behind a knoll, while the witness's wife videotaped about 22 seconds.

The witness was on a fishing trip and eating lunch at camp when he spotted a fur-covered biped on a hill across from the boat launch using binoculars. He watched it for several minutes until it stepped over a fallen tree and disappeared into the trees. About an hour later he saw what he believed was the same creature near a rockslide on a larger hill across the lake before it disappeared again. He told his father he had seen a Sasquatch.

The witness claims finding a fresh large footprint in muddy ground near a river in the early afternoon, with photographs taken and others present. At the same time the group heard noises from underbrush up the hill. They thought the noise could possibly have been a herd of elk.
17-18 inch tracks in the mud
The witness was hiking in a remote, semi-hilly wooded area when they came across large tracks in mud estimated at about 17-18 inches. They also noticed a strong unpleasant odor and found a pile of long dark brown fur on the ground near a tree. No creature itself was reported as seen.

The witness and a companion were driving logging roads looking for footprints. About 20 feet off a secluded logging road they found multiple footprints about 14 inches long in firm ground. They were able to follow the prints for 15 feet before losing the trail.
Sasquatch sighting near Fort Lewis, Washington (1996)
While serving as OPFOR team leader, the guest camped with four soldiers on a hilltop at Fort Lewis. They awoke to live gunfire and powerful roars that made three men ill, then approached to find special-operations personnel standing over two shot Sasquatch bodies. After the female died before them, the team was removed, threatened with prosecution if they spoke, and later found the site cleared.

The witness was riding with two friends at night when a large hairy creature came out of a ditch on all fours in front of the car. It paused to look toward the headlights, then bounded across the road and up an embankment with unusually fast, skittering movement. The witness recalls seeing a large charcoal-gray human-like foot as it left.
Sounds heard answered by another more distant source
The witness reports hearing loud cries from west of the home over a period from early 1996 to mid-1998, always late at night. Each cry was answered by a more distant cry, and on one night the sound was close enough to wake the witness from sleep. No visual encounter is described; the witness says the sounds matched recordings presented on a television program about Bigfoot investigation.
Teenager recounts his sighting as a very young boy on his property near Yacolt
A young child who had gone about fifty yards from the house to pick thimbleberries claimed a large white-furred creature rose up from behind the bushes within a few feet. The child observed broad shoulders, long arms at its sides, and a human-like head shape for a few seconds before running back to the house in terror. No one else saw the creature, and later searches found no tracks or hair.

Late at night the witness was driving home with an infant passenger on a wooded road with a guardrail and creek. A dark figure crouched by the guardrail stood, raised its arms, then lay down in the lane and the car drove over it. The witness left the scene out of fear, later reported hitting a bear, but no record of the call or physical trace was found the next day.
Unusual sounds heard, sighting of fast upright animal
The witness and two relatives returned at night to a riverside berry area where relatives had felt watched the day before. After about ten minutes of quiet, they heard a loud bang like a shotgun, loud splashing near shore, and repeated very large rocks thrown into the water. After retreating uphill and pausing by the car, they heard a branch snap and rustling, and an unseen presence loudly mimicked the witness's whistle by vocalizing.

Two people driving south into Washington in the early afternoon saw a dark hair-covered animal dash across the highway from forest to forest. The witness described it as lean and long, moving partly on two legs and partly on four, with no visible pointed ears. The sighting lasted only moments and was first dismissed as an abnormal animal, only years later considered as possibly sasquatch.

Two people camping near a ravine heard rhythmic steps and saw a pair of large, long black-haired legs walking across the slope about 30 yards away. The companion moved closer but dense trees prevented a view of the full figure. After relocating their tent near other campers, both were awakened around 3 a.m. by heavy pounding nearby followed by three high shrill screams.
Five member family camping see a hairy upright animal
Shortly after dinner the witness watched from a campfire as an upright hairy animal appeared on a ridgeline about 120 yards away. After other family members were called over, the animal looked toward them, moved uphill with very long strides, violently shook a small fir tree with one hand, then went over the ridge and out of sight. The whole sighting lasted 30 to 40 seconds, and a later search of the area found no tracks.
